(BRAIN) — Tern is asking retailers to be on the lookout for 48 of its bikes and e-bikes that were stolen while in transport by rail from Los Angelas to a Tern warehouse in Illinois last month. The company is working with law enforcement and insurers following the theft of a container of bikes worth a total of about $170,000.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll put extra security on my containers.
Sounds like you can buy one for a good deal
I love when the value of stolen goods from a company is always based on selling price, and not actual cost to produce.
But for regular folk, the value of an item is depreciated into oblivion when you have to report it as stolen to your insurance company!
Misread the title and pictured a bunch of people riding around on bikes somehow taking off with a cargo container.
Forklift operators hate this one weird trick!
Finally maybe I can afford one!
This sounds exclusively like the insurers’ problem.
