I haven’t had a flat in semi-daily rides in over a year and ~10k miles on Gatorskins. I didn’t ride them when I raced, but they last longer, don’t flatten in the center like stickier tires, and for someone just ridding for physical therapy they are ideal. I don’t think I’ll be trying anything else but good to know of the alternative.

It’s a trade off between puncture resistance and handling. I personally don’t want to ride these tires or gatorskins. I’ll stick with my continental gp 5000s, and just deal with punctures sometimes. The ride and grip are so much better they’re worth it.

I use Tannus Armor on my ebike and Flatout in my bicycle: Never had any problems. If I ever go tubeless though, I might get some of those Schwalbe Marathons
