In Garfield, Jon doesn’t actually know what Garfield is saying. That’s why Garfield always have thought bubbles. So if this comic follows the same logic, this is just a comic of Ron being abusive to his cat for no reason.
I’ve just had the realization that, Garfield has no reason to hate Mondays for work or anything, because he’s a cat. The most plausible reason for a pet to hate Mondays is that they mean their human is away a lot of the day again after being home for a couple days, which makes the idea of Jon acting abusive to him over it only sadder.
Well, Garfield also doesn’t get out of bed to find a job, earn money and pay rent or buy food. Especially on Mondays. So, even without dialogues, Garfield truly is an ungrateful fuck, and I’ve had enough of his fat orange ass in this house.
I mean, kinda Jon’s fault for getting a cat then, they’re not exactly known for contributing anything except emotional benefits and maybe keeping mice away
Reminds me of this
Garfield sells literally billions of dollars of merchandise each year. Until recently he had his own restaurant chain. He is literally worth billions. What the fuck does Jon do? He just walks around his house talking to his billionaire cat. I saw him working once in the 80s and hasn’t left the house since. The only thing he does is take the cat to the vet and he can barely keep his shit together because it is the only human connection he’s had for the last 30 years
FUCKING Garfield! SON of a bitch!
Ron can read minds and Garfeld understands English. What’s more remarkable, Garfeld gives a fuck. I always talk shit to my cats, I love them and they love me back, but, what if I am the Ron here? Then my cats don’t give a fuck. Gotta love those little furry bastards.
I wanted Jon to walk away and come back with an empty box
