They didn’t rule it, they overturned a previous decision. Not that this isn’t bad but it does not mean right now that using ad blockers is illegal. I also think reading other articles on this, that the ruling is also more focused on Adblock plus working with advertisers to allow some ads but block others.
I do remember you have to go somewhere in the settings around keyboards and startup movies to be able to claim them. I am not sure you could just claim them in the actual points shop.
Yeah. Same for me. I do have issues from time to time that my monitor isn’t recognized, then I have to disconnect and even switch off power to the display completely before trying again.
But that happens maybe once every few weeks.
Maybe there are more keyboards that I don’t know about but I got the 512 GB OLED version and was able to get all kinds of useless profile things and also keyboard skins, marked as Steamdeck exclusive.
Can recommend. Got this for free many many years ago. If you like puzzlers, this is a nice one.
I can also recommend KDE connect, does not work well on most public WiFi though.
In 2011. It’s been 14 years and for streaming portal things just got worse and worse.
I just had it all nicely setup and was planning to expand it, being happy and content that I don’t need to mess with it anymore. And now they decide to make a 2.0, darn it!
Mostly joking, glad to see its being developed, just hope I don’t forget to wait updating it on my server until the android app catches up.
Yeah, how is it so unbelievable that when you go twice the speed you are twice as fast but when you go a third faster in speed you only go a third fast in time. Diminishing returns is something else, like you would go a third faster in speed but arrive only a quarter faster.

Just saw this post and thought of your topic here: https://lemmy.world/post/34149294
What do you mean, just download your extra RAM like everyone else.
I’ll just start off with some second hand knowledge I cannot promise is correct because I recently learned that secure boot is a bit of a hot mess.
I seem to remember from discussions of recent articles that were about expiration of some widely used keys to run secure boot, that this is something you need to enable when you install your operating system. Unless I misunderstood what people were saying it sounds to me like there is no way to switch it on retroactively, because that pretty much stops your operating system from booting. Similar if you had it on during installation and then switch it off, your system won’t run.
I guess this is to avoid that someone with physical access to your computer can just switch it off, install root kit malware, then switch it back on (or not).
Again. I might be wrong but maybe if you look into that direction you find some more information that helps.
I mean, that doesn’t really mean much, given that you don’t have to be very intelligent to get one. It’s mostly an endurance exercise and often a test how much frustration and uncertainty you can take in your life.
It still does all of that though? The only thing that stopped working was that you use the standard app shortcut to start it in private mode. And for that you can make a separate shortcut.
It still works if you follow a link from another app that it opens that in private mode. It still works that the browser closes tabs automatically after a set time and that it clears history fully upon quiting.
I am not sure what you are now missing.
I would also assume most people interested in SteamDecks don’t care too much about its performance. As long as it plays older titles well enough or newer games that are not cutting edge in game engines it is fine.
Aside from finding a tutorial for that, of which there are surely hundreds or thousands online, I’d also suggest checking ProtonDB on the off-chance that the game actually just doesn’t run on SteamDeck: https://www.protondb.com/app/2050650?device=steamDeck
I assume you meant that one, looks good and commenters there also give some info on what they did to start it.
