Does --force-cursor-grab
fix the issue where the mouse cursor might be misaligned with where you’re clicking? Hadn’t ever used that parameter in my setup and have avoided games that had 3rd party launchers because of this very issue.

I will say that in general I also agree, but there are games where I have been completely okay with it, like DRG. But those updates are always free and really just define (formerly) time period in which a long-term event is contained within. I do love that the latest season is really more of a chapter than a season since you can pick and choose whenever you want to jump into whichever season you want to play and progress through. Only seasonal events have time constraints now.
This is particularly nice since my DRG group has moved to playing Grounded instead, with the occasional DRG night and don’t want to feel tethered to a release schedule.

Been using this for several months now and it’s been great. I even set up scripts to set my next boot to be Windows when I know I’ll be gaming with friends using a game on GamePass so it’ll be booted and ready when game night is about to start.
Lol yeah I don’t think OP knows what penultimate means.
And you take negative feedback poorly, just roll with the punches. It happens.
Also it’s not really a Microsoft thing as proven by the fact it’s requiring Java of all things, not .Net or any other Microsoft-proprietary runtimes.
I have half a clue and also call it reseating.
No problem, glad I was able to recognize the symptoms so quickly. It was incredibly frustrating too! Oh, one more thing to do is launch Heroic from terminal so you can see the output. That’s how I knew which game was causing it.
First I disabled the flood control just to make sure I could get it working. I’m not sure about Heroic, but Lutris has an online database for games and I looked up Dead Space and found the correct game ID to set it to. Once it was on the right ID, it found the assets it needed and was done in under a second.
Are you using pihole?
I ask because Lutris was killing my network too and it took me like two weeks to figure out the root cause. For me, this is what was happening. I had Dead Space Remake installed. Lutris used the name of the game to identify it, but was incorrect. Then it would try to download assets for the game but apparently they changed the URL path. But when Lutris failed to get them, instead of giving up, it HAMMERED my DNS with requests, triggering pihole to engage its flood controls and kick me off DNS for 5 min.
If you use pihole, watch your query log live and see what is happening.
Lol when it was first announced, everyone said that people would fork it just to change the name for this reason. I prefer to keep it this way.
Sorry, no I didn’t mean it could play Steam games without Link. I was just saying that there is precedent for calling it a platform of its own because of how Quest works. Sure, on Steam it’s going to be based on the OS running it, but VR is a more unique experience than the OS being the platform.
I kinda think they did that because of the Quest since what do you call that if you’re only playing games installed in the headset, not using Quest Link?
I find it rather ironic that I can’t watch it because of the error of

on a domain named hardlimit.com lol
Am I missing something here? Rust on the Linux Kernel is in reference to the programming language, not the game so I can’t tell if you’re mistaking the OP’s topic or I’m missing your sarcasm.
When I first quit Reddit, I would grab my phone and not know what to do at all. I would flip through apps aimlessly and end up on GPS and confuse the hell out of myself.
I have to stop about 70%. Every 80%+ tastes like plastic to me, it’s a weird sensation for me. Have always loved 70% dark chocolate though, as well as milk.
White? It’s mostly a toleration rather than an enjoyment. I like it in a few specific things like a white mocha or a few varieties of cookies. But never by itself.
Err yeah, lol… That’s what I meant, but typed it wrong. And hmmm, not sure that’ll do it then but I will give it a try.
