The tired effect coffee has is because your brain calms down and can rest. You just used that calmness to actually get things done. I have ADHD and coffee keeps me up for hours if I have too much. It’s definitely not a concrete rule, more just an indicator that you may have ADHD if coffee affects you differently. It’s not a concrete determining factor either way. My point is this is a larger problem of capitalism and just supporting companies that don’t do this doesn’t always work. The gaming industry is getting worse, and there will be less and less devs that actually don’t do this. And there will be less and less devs that are fiscally able to not do this. I have seen it happen time and time again.

You’re not understanding what I’m saying. This is them testing the waters. All companies that are publicly traded will continue to do whatever they can to make a profit. Consumer be damned. I don’t buy AAA games, but it doesn’t change the fact that changes like this will propagate across the gaming industry and make it worse as a whole. The issue here is them trying to turn a profit for shareholders no matter what. So many of these companies are prioritizing making a profit why they happen to release games and not vice versa. That is a result of the last stage unregulated capitalism we have in America and those same tendencies that they’ve propagated to the global economy.

Don’t be so naive to say “just don’t buy it bro.” I won’t. It doesn’t really affect me that much RIGHT NOW. But it might, the more they’re legally allowed to and the more they get away with the more everyone will do it. It happened with DLC’s, then releasing unfinished games, in game purchase in games you have to buy, etc. God forbid I don’t want the entirety of AAA gaming to be a pile of shit. It’s time for lawmakers to step in in this industry and most others and put limits on what type of things companies can do to make a profit. And this goddamn law that companies must do everything they can to turn a profit for their shareholders must be done away with.

It’s only a matter of time before this leaks into all AAA games, I hate capitalism.

This thing is larger in size but is a similar form factor. For PC gaming I don’t see anything getting much smaller than this for another few years at least. This thing is really cool though, this to me looks like the most viable handheld for on the go PC gaming I’ve seen. Really short battery life tho.

I think once arm starts to become more common, and/or other RISC based platforms gain mainstream traction, more games will work on ARM based processors, and in turn we’ll start to see smaller and longer lasting PC gaming handhelds with arm based chips. Or at the least, handhelds with PC graphic quality.

But it will happen eventually, you’d blow someone from the 90’s mind if you showed them a 3Ds, it all just takes time.

If you’re ever aching for a chrome extension try out waterfox, it’s based on Firefox but also allows the use of some chrome extensions, the list of useable extensions used to be bigger, but it’s growing again thanks to the original dev getting the browser independent again and re-opening it’s development

WiFi repeaters are not a great way to extend WiFi range and will def get you slower network speeds. So that’s probably why

I really miss Google’s original mesh router setup, it was so painless, almost plug and play. But of course, they bought a company and it got absorbed by their nest mesh system, which is more expensive and from what I understand more annoying. And now their old WiFi routers are in support limbo.

But if they can set up a repeater, I feel like they can setup a mesh system. I was able to do it through my Asus app on my phone pretty quickly. The only issue I had was with a used router I got off eBay being finicky about reliably remembering it’s mesh setup once it had been unplugged. Something wrong with the cmos or something.

Oops, fixed, cut me some slack I was half asleep and I had an edible last night lol. And some of those Asus gaming routers do look like mechs haha
