This is what capitalism does by design. Resources accumulate upward until some entity forcibly redistributes it (government, populous revolution, etc). It is a system that always leads to the detriment of the many for the vanity and power of the few it deems “winners.”

The older ones are hearing stories of social security being canceled on people like them and they are getting nervous. My vehement Trump supporting co-workers are having trouble backing things he does. The cracks are small and slow but the confidence in their statements of support are getting weaker. I think some support is eroding, but it’s slow. It’s really going to have to affect them more directly for it to fully erode sadly. Though I think it will, the damage the right will inflict in the mean time will change this country for generations.

Empathy doesn’t matter TO YOU. Society functions on empathy. It is a skill and one you clearly need to develop. You aren’t a good leader if you don’t have it, you just think you are.

No. Fuck Trump supporters. Their toxic hate is a detractor worthy of being cut off. If he can’t see how toxic he is, put him in that position and make him choose. Help him understand the truth of project 2025 and then let him decide if being “a man” is more important than being a father.
