the right to abortion is just a subset of bodily autonomy: noone should be able to make decisions or take actions upon your body except you/with your consent.
you can survive with half a liver, and livers regenerate. you can also donate significant amounts of your blood, and even more plasma, without ill effect. these things are lifesaving, but despite that, you cannot be forced to do so against your will.
abortion is no different. just because it can’t survive without you doesn’t mean it gets priority over your own bodily autonomy.
I’m no fan of hamas, but what Israel is doing is just insane.
not everyone in fucking gaza is a fucking terrorist.
it’s going to be hard to get to 40k if we don’t keep counting through the 10s.
he’s almost got his early factory running in bobangels!
let’s just say that steam has a section of games distinctly not aimed at children.
now if only we could do something with that plastic after we fish it out…
it was a few years ago now, I’m sorry - if I still hand it it’ll be deeply buried in my inbox
I’ve actually recovered my account (I was reported, and suspended, for using a false name) and along with the identification they requested I submitted a picture of a hand-written letter explaining why I used this name.
my account was reinstated.
I used to hate early access - why should we pay to test an unfinished game, when that’s an actual job that people get paid to do?
but I’ve come to recognise that it’s am important avenue for funding for many developers, and tbh, I don’t think any of the early access games I’ve played have felt “incomplete” - perhaps lacking polish, perhaps in need of more content, but that’s true of many full releases, and early access not only gets you these games at a reduced price, it effectively guarantees a large amount of free DLC as the game gets made more complete.
my only real complaint now is sometimes I like early access features which end up getting cut from the finished game.
how much chuck could a chuck-wood wood, if a chuck-wood would wood chuck?
“never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity”
he might not be the antichrist we expect, but he’s certainly the one we deserve.
and the losses from playing lotto week after week, year after year add up. I’m meaning individual instances, you don’t get ripped after one rep.
this sounds like reverse lottery. a high probability of minor gains with a miniscule chance of serious negative outcome.
I can’t say I’m surprised. I was wondering whether I should jump in on day 1, since I played C:S 1 pretty heavily, and want to support the devs, but this definitely means I’ll be waiting at least a few patches.
"estados unidense" = states united (Spanish and Portuguese often put the adjective after the affected noun)
what else would it be?
