You could get some of the mods from news to come here and moderate civility. It is their favorite thing in the world to do. They don’t have any other hobbies or interests besides deleting comments for civility all of the time. Maximum civility moderation efficiency. They are the best mods, the greatest mods, there have never been better mods than these crack elite super elite mods.

What else are you expecting them to do then if they already answered? Write an essay on DLL injection and walk everyone through the code line by line to convince them it’s not malicious?

There are multiple posts going back 5 days of people asking about it. Check closed issues too, the dev even responded to some of them by saying it’s only a false positive.

I remember first watching this show and loving it. Story, jokes, setting, characters all hit right. Over time I’ve come to gradually like R&M less and less. I think it’s a show that came into existence at the right place and right time but has overstayed its welcome.

Interesting project for an issue that I feel like never gets talked about. No idea how easy or difficult it would be, but if the dev could build in VST support to the program that would give this project nearly unlimited potential.

They are both bad for different reasons.

Kbin has uncontrolled spam because the administrator, Ernest, likes to go AWOL for months on end and wants to do everything completely by himself. Currently, Kbin.social has been unreachable for 4-5 days - whether that’s because something legitimately broke or Ernest pulled the plug on things we don’t know because he actually hates communicating with people. He could gain so much more goodwill from the community if he just left a one sentence post saying “I am still alive, I am still updating things, be patient.”

Lemmy World sucks because the admins suck, the moderators suck, and the majority of the userbase don’t seem to be interested in creating quality content. Most of the people there are only there because their Reddit app doesn’t work anymore.
