Instead of each company make their own ai r, they should be working together to create the AI.

    Sure, but they want to make money off it. Efforts won’t be equal, so how can they ensure other companies don’t profit more without proportional investment?

    Same questions could be asked for medicine.

    We are not an ideal world, unfortunately.
