I think you miss the entire point of open source. It’s not that one is good or bad, it’s that one can be verified. Developers are welcome to publish their software however they want, but misrepresenting packages is disingenuous
Because it’s fundamentally different. Open source not following the source is a clear indicator it’s no longer following its published base.
Linux still needs some work in this space, we need full verified boot and ways to protect the boot partition against evil maid attacks. This is one major reason I haven’t been able to fully switch to Linux.
Thanks! Got a deck a while back but haven’t used it as much as I should.
I dunno, I really enjoyed the post. Thanks OP!
This is really market share against Microsoft, not Mac. For good reason too, Microsoft is working very hard to ruin their company. They’re losing a lot of ground to Mac as well, especially in the small business sector where many things are web based now anyways. Run an MSP and we’ve had quite a few clients get fed up with inconsistent updates and repeated dumb problems… looking at you WSD and printing.
I’m finally playing Horizon zero dawn. Liking it a lot so far.
It hugely improves privacy and security
A smile on my sons face when he’s having fun
You’ve got this! We’re all gonna make it brah.
Great improvements imo!
False and fake information.
How do these Intel cards work in Linux? I haven’t come across one yet.
They’re the best hands down.
You should NOT disable SELinux. Where in the hell did you get the idea it’s a good idea for people to do? Quite the opposite, people should have ways to interact with the MAC system easily.
