We tried this already - getting ethics in game journalism.
It didn’t work so well.

Being a white male in the USA is still one the most privileged groups.
Agreed.
But that doesn't mean that white men are exempt from needing help.
Yeah, kinda.
If you need help or support of some sort, and you're black, there are tons of black or African American support groups available. If you're a women, again, there are tons of support groups. Black and a woman? Congrats, you can double dip.
Now, what's the first pro-white-male group you can think of.
That's why I think it's not just an individual problem, but a societal one.
Also, never mix iron (not a vitamin btw) with dairy or tea. And take it with some vitamin C
Aside from it not being kosher (milk and meat) what’s wrong with mixing the two?
I’ll echo this. My understanding is that compared to other countries, Americans are willing to share our lives with strangers. Now, apply that to politics. As a country, we’re very open about everything.
But also know that it’s not a jpeg, and it only works because whatever app is opening the jpeg is able to read the webp format.
Road tripping in a bolt is… bad.
Can’t beat the price though, and unlike a Tesla it’s a real car, with real buttons and real spare parts.
And they’re not particularly well built; how many of these do you think will be on the road 20 years from now?
These two are not mutually exclusive. They’re not well built, but they also have rediculously low failure rates. So they may have a lot more rattles, but I’d be surprised if most of the Teslas on the road today, don’t last until they’re at least 12, which is the average age of a car in America IIRC.
Even back then we were told never to reveal that sort of stuff online. How many of us do you think were telling the truth?
Not joking. It absolutely was about ethics, at first. The initial kickoff was the boyfriend accusing the girl (Zoë Quinn?) of sleeping with someone else for a better review. That’s ethics in a nutshell. I don’t think that anyone really cared about the game, or who was involved, but rather that the state of the industry was such that you could accuse a well known game reviewer of being unethical, and it was more believable than not.
The fact is, reviewers had already sold their souls and a AAA game get anything less than a 90%. Had reviewers had better ethics, probably no one would have believed the boyfriend, and the entire story would have been a nothing-burger.
Of course it went off the rails after that, the fact that the boyfriend was lying didn’t help, but for a brief moment it looked like there might actually be game news/review industry reform. It was a glorious 24 or so hours.
