Scatterbrained and friendly optimist. Always happy to give my (unasked for) opinion :)
Pardon my rambling and broken English, I know I often sound like an alien trying to impersonate a human being.
I often wake up around the same time. What helps for me is a big soft toy cat to cuddle with. The feeling of security of being able to wrap my arms around something tight is soothing and often helps me drift off to sleep again.
I don’t use it until I wake up though, until then it’s lying on the floor next to my bed. It could be that the change in sleeping posture is what helps?
Granted, this might be a bit too personal to be helpful. But maybe it will help for you as well? Alternatively you could try a big fluffy pillow if soft toys aren’t your thing :)
Thank you for your answer! Nice to see something besides a literal interpretation of the question (Though to be fair, it was also the first thing that popped in my head :)
Anyway, I have to agree with you. A lot of things that seemed almost impossible or ridiculously far-fetched when I was little are now common place or close to becoming reality. And I'm not even that old! (forever in my early thirties *cough* *cough*)
Of course taking the stairs is better than walking. But hopefully, linking it to a healthier heart might tempt more people to take the stairs instead of the elevator.
I see too many people at work taking an elevator for what amounts to just one or two flights of stairs. It’s most likely just laziness and force of habit. Creating some awareness that taking the stairs is an easy and effective way to fight heart disease is not a bad thing.
Even if it sounds obvious to most of us :)
It ends when it ends, try to enjoy it while it hasn’t ended yet. You might wish it hadn’t ended by the time it did end :)
(Assuming that the end is not a desired end but an inevitable end)
Something extremely gross and disgusting. Please don’t turn me into food.
Yes! Gray, wet and chilly is my favorite time of the year (and where I live, that’s most of the year :)
No one telling you to go outside and enjoy the day.
Thank you so much for that link.
A lot of these questions hit close to my own experiences. I should really get something done about this.
Yea, I automatically upvote my own posts and comments. I felt very self-conscious about it at first, but then I figured all other users do the same.
So now I just mentally subtract one vote from every score :)
When I was a kid our family went on vacation to the US. Everyone kept asking if I was Dutch, which I thought was German (Deutsch).
So I kept correcting them, saying I was Netherlandish :)
