Okay, so you’re saying that the QMK keychron boards, when over Bluetooth, are a much higher latency than when plugged in.
Totally, I saw that they are listed as QMK and wireless, I’m just curious how they figured that out when as far as I know there are basically no other QMK keyboards running wirelessly.
Since OP wants QMK — how do the keychrons work wirelessly with QMK? I thought you needed ZMK for wireless firmware.
Wow nice. That’s sort of a game changer… why can’t other QMK boards work like this?
I got my first wireless board (with ZMK - a Ferris sweep) recently and I love it. My only wish is that the Bluetooth range were larger.
Beautiful keyboard!
Since you have the Bluetooth version, I’m curious if it is QMK compatible and how that works. I was under the impression that QMK doesn’t work wirelessly.
Got it. Yeah, even the k2 pro is listed as wireless, I just don’t understand how it’s possible to use QMK wirelessly.
How does the QMK firmware on keychron work with wireless mode? I thought QMK doesn’t work over Bluetooth.
How is the wireless range of your keychron?
I love using a split keyboard with Colemak. But I also wish I could totally get rid of my mouse.
I have the moon lander and like it a lot.
The downsides to it are that it is not wireless, and it has too many keys for me. If you keep everything on within one row from the Home row, you really only need like 36 keys.
Otherwise, I think it’s a great keyboard, even though it is expensive.
I don’t use it one-handed. I use two hands and take one away when I need to use the mouse.
I’ve used a split keyboard for a few years now and wish I could drop the mouse. But using mouse keys on QMK is just not as fluid as using a mouse.
I have one of these split keyboards and still use a mouse. I’d like to use it less, but haven’t found any great alternatives to fully remove it.
Nice, your keyboard looks great.
How do you like the low profile switches? I type on silent linear MX switches right now and am wondering if I would like a keyboard like yours just to switch it up occasionally and for travel.
I have also heard the choc switches don’t sound as nice as MX switches? I’m curious how your experience has been.
Thanks so much for the picture.
I was thinking of getting a wireless Corne or a Ferris sweep as a travel board. How do you like the dactyl in comparison?
Looks great. I’m sure it’s super comfy. Do you ever travel with it or is that not super feasible?
I want a keyboard like this but I want it prebuilt 😂.
Cool, thanks for the description! I’m interested in buying a pre built keyboard optimized for traveling. Which configuration would you recommend from your site?
Just checking - they all use QMK or ZMK right?
Thanks for the link. I’ve been looking at the Cornish Zen recently.
What would be the major differences between keyboards on your site and the CZ? I see they’re both wireless.
My main takeaway from this whole drama is that whether you’re justified or not, being defensive and whiny on the internet is not a good look.
