Imagine if MS let them have Halo. The world would be so different. Gamers would have flocked to macs instead of Xbox.

More like “…thanks to years of neglect by Apple.”
I remember seeing that when it was first released, but I didn’t like the idea of it allowing cookies. Like, I do care about cookies and I don’t want them. I just don’t want to have to click around those banners trying to reject them.
Us there an extension to get rid of cookie banners in the meantime? God the web is so annoying.
Chargers are not like gas stations. Most people will do the vast majority of their charging at home. I only use a public charger when I am doing a road trip. And even then, I still have the option of using Electrify America or Chargepoint chargers. So yes, it would be amazing for me to access the supercharger network if it allows for a more efficient route than relying only on Electrify America, but realistically I would only be charging there once or twice a year, maybe $30 each time.
Hyundai and Toyota aren’t investing in EVs like they should. Kia and Hyundai are way ahead. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is what the BZ4X hopes it will be in 4 years. The Hyundai has a more advanced battery and better overall performance, and it looks better.
The supercharger grid is going away as an advantage. Also, if you bought last year, a Model Y was starting at $67,000. I almost bought one, and I’m so, so, so glad that I didn’t.
London is awful. Old trains, super expensive, unreliable service. My subway to the airport was delayed by 25 minutes a month ago with no warning or clear idea when it was going to arrive. Thankfully I had some time before my flight otherwise it would have been a disaster.
Virtually every country does it better other than the US. Paris is amazing. Very cheap, beautifully designed stations, very efficient. Trains are meh but they’re fine.
Japan is a bit weird for having multiple private companies operate subways in the same city, but the reliability and quality is pretty amazing.
If we’re lucky, the highway will be underwater by then.
My whole family iaabon Signal because we are mixed android/iOS, and Messages sucks. I wish I could get more of my friend son it though.
Sorry for the hijack, but the post I see above this comment is some baseball scores. Twins @ Braves. Using Lemmy.world in a web browser. What’s going on?

I have both and I prefer the steam deck. The Ally runs games better when they run, but the trip there always sucks, to the point that you never want to pick it up.
The Ally is actually much more of a “linux-like” experience because you can get more out of it, but you have to put a lot more work into it to get there. The steam deck is like a console.
