But misrepresenting its utility as a modern living room PC doesn’t help anyone and is just going to leave people disappointed.
Did I do this?

It’s almost as if they’re two completely different markets
Yup. As someone who hasn’t had a dedicated gaming PC in about a decade, I’ve been really happy with the PS5 + Steam Deck combo (well, plus Switch, but that thing collects dust until Nintendo releases a Mario platformer).
I recently got a laptop that’s not made for gaming specifically, but can handle them pretty well (with Proton), and that has scratched any itch I’ve had for PC games that don’t lend themselves to Deck or console (your RTS games and such).
At risk of giving away the game… I think people would be very surprised to see how cheap physical copies of PS4 and PS5 games go for when you catch them on sale.
Oh shit, a reference to 2600 magazine! Nostalgia bomb…
Not if you’re “deemed at threat to yourself or others”
It does fucking everything lol.
Thought it was just for YouTube videos until I got it recently and read the man file. The amount of shit you can do with it is insane.
I also believe that there are a significant number of Trump voters who have quieted down out of embarrassment (but will still vote for him)
I don’t understand… I was describing the reality of climate change. Does that make you uncomfortable?
Yeah, I think humans deserve the consequences of our actions with respect to climate change. And…?
Was I advocating for it? Do you maybe not know what that word means?
How does it feel to be the person who takes screenshots of other people’s comments on an Internet forum because you think it’s some kind of “gotcha”?
Yeah, been on Linux a bit over a year now, and have yet to run into a game that I’ve wanted/bought that didn’t work just fine. Including some that steam call “unsupported” (Like Dark Souls Prepare to Die edition with DSFix).
What they said, but yes also the wriggling. It’s probably fine for now, but I have had devices where the port did get worn out that way after years of use and just incidental wiggling and that was enough to make the port extremely loose and jiggly.
Yeah it’s just like that… except that they advocate for the murder and starvation of countless people as a step in a process towards a utopia that cannot exist.
But yeah just a bunch of fun people with inside jokes
Or even psychedelic. Don’t think I need to say not to forget it, because I’m sure you won’t be able to 🫠
The question still stands… Where is my hot green bean juice?!
Wouldn’t “right to repair” regarding medicine just be universal healthcare?
Most people in right to repair states/countries still bring their iPhone to someone to fix (though they have the right to fix it themselves just as people I guess have the right to try to fix themselves rather than go to a doctor).
There are definitely food deserts in the US.
All in your gut
Why mkv? Use a torrent site (with ublock, etc) or bring up a streaming site and use yt-dlp
the overall fear of innovation
eh?
I don’t consider myself a Marxist, but… what?
Indeed
