Sounds like fun. Me and my mate can probably get into this.

Both services use the ActivityPub protocol, so to put it very simply the data format used by both services is the same, they just render it differently on your screen. Then they are pushing/pulling the data for posts and comments from other instances as users request it, e.g. by viewing this lemmy instance through Mastodon.
Can you disable the app and download another gallery from F-Droid?
I’m done fiddling with software and want stuff that works without much hassle. Unraid is super easy, I am in the process of building a home server with it, similar setup to OP.
I plan on moving my media files to the server through my LAN via FreeFileSync.
Usually the only things locked behind an application are custom equalisation, and modifiable earphone buttons. You probably can even uninstall it after you’re happy with the above settings.
Fan projects or mods should be never pre-announced, just released once they’re ready. Once it’s out there the big companies can’t stop it.
Waiting for phone manufacturers to integrate physical camera covers like on new laptops.
I wank with my left hand.
But I write with my right hand.
But I open jars with my left hand.
But I use the screwdriver with my right hand.
But I eat with the knife on my left hand.
But I play guitar right-handed.
OP is already using one based on the post text.
Yeah. 99% of users click nag screens off right away. I do too, unless I use that application/service extensively.
Hello, fellow IT person. One day we will need the VGA cables we have saved.
Big companies avoid risk too much, they want to make revenue, not games. I haven’t been interested in any AAA game in some 10 years. They’re all just the same open-world, microtransaction-DLC, soon-to-be advertisement platform with uninspired gameplay features.
Independent developers on the other hand are innovating and making cool and fun games.
My friend loves the game but thinks there is nothing to do anymore… I kind of agree with him in a way. We’ve done the dungeons, we’ve done the JPs, diving goggles, we’ve done parts of the story which he doesn’t really vibe with. Raiding and Fractals would be dope, but not doable with just 2-3 players.
His biggest issue is probably the “activity” mechanics. Story = listen to characters talking, fight wave of enemies, do a fetch quest, fight wave of enemies… Open world is not too much better.
While not open source, Here WeGo is also an alternative to Google. I think Here may be more focused on driving.
Functional multiplayer next?
Probably because it was developed by a different company, and is completely different from the three Flatout games by Bugbear.
With bank transfers I am referring to services like Paytrail/Klarna where you authenticate with your bank, and choose which account the sum is taken from.
I think bank transfers are more popular in Northern Europe. I only use a credit card if I want additional buyer protection / insurance from my bank.
Most reviews seem to be related to the “personal backup” service, but still good to consider. I’ve only read positive things about their B2 storage on self-host communities.
I’m always advocating for Signal, but I’m worried for the time their billionaire-backing eventually runs out.
