I’m running a RPI4 with LibreELEC + Kodi.
YouTube runs better than the official app, at least for my needs.
LibreELEC + Kodi works out of the box with the TV Remote. And you can use Kore (android app) to get a full keyboard.

Yesterday update fixed the graphics issues for me. As for the WiFi issues I can’t speak because I’m using wired connection.
Edit: I’m on tumbleweed BTW.
Never touched heroic launcher so can’t really help you there. Normally I just use Lutris, works without fail every time.

Can you change the runner in heroic launcher? Like proton instead of wine?
Because its sexy has fuck.
It does. 😉
Does it support comics?
I’m not sure if this is what you are asking for, but: Open the site you wish do add. Touch the 3 dots in the address bar a choose add to shortcuts.
Is there any benefit for using the app over the site? I stopped using Amazon, but when I did use, the site seemed to work just fine.

Indeed they are.
Glad to have helped!
I’m not experienced with nvidia shield, but in my raspberry pi I use Kodi with the Daddy Live addon. I believe you can install Kodi in the shield, so maybe that’s an option.
gsmarena says that it doesn't have GPS. The official site doesn't mention it either.
The best part is "Operating system: Proprietary". Strange that they don't have a name for it…
In the user opinions and reviews section at gsmarena, someone said that the B35 uses Kai OS. So probably the same OS for the B40.
Should be more private than a iOS or Android phone just for the fact that's a "dumb" phone. No wireless no GPS. Basically just phone calls and SMS. I don't know if there's anything more privacy friendly than that out there.
I use the TV remote control for the basic stuff. If I need to type something longer or more options, than I switch to Kore (official Kodi remote by the same developers). You just need the phone to be in the same network.
Never felt the need to connect keyboard+mouse.
