@Fubarberry War Robots. This shit really got me hooked as of late.
Ce să vă zic, mă, bine ați venit? bine ați venit, rău ați nimerit. La locu’ ăsta îi zice șerpărie, de la șerpii care umblă pe-aicea. Dracu’ știe cum au ajuns…

@UrLogicFails I didn’t celebrate Halloween either, but I have recreated the mildly disturbing Halloween mask from the TF2 game a few years ago. It’s my only Halloween stuff I have, lol.
@Gamers_mate oh. I’m gonna pick Minecraft again then, and do just that, lol.

Here! But yeah, the lack of Lemmy is a bummer. I suppose that other services like Misskey are also supported via Mastodon support though.
AI Features: Copilots, AI Auto-complete, Canva-like editor.
yeah, no thanks; putting out AI slop on social media is not the way forward.
I believe this is cathering more to business users. But I fully agree, AI is literally turning social media into dogshit. And the internet as well…
I genuinely hope to see a coalition in power, but on Instagram (from @rferl 's page - they don’t seem to be that active around here anymore), I saw that the Georgian Dream is leading in the polls, with 53% 🙁
Wow, what do you think I do with games? Of course it’s recreational…
@Gamers_mate lol, reshared. Can the bees attack you if you attack them? That would make it even more cool.
@hedge just so, upfront? Kinda is, yeah. But if you talk to them about Signal and that you’re using it and how cool is it before that, it’s okay, imo.
@Midnitte right. I didn’t think about this, sorry 😁 however, modern Android versions have this option built-in. I used Twilight as well in the past, however, I no longer feel like I need it.

@alyaza Are you guys voting already? Good luck and hope the orange man only gets to serve fries for the rest of his life. Here it’s a cold day. We’re already experiencing temperatures as low as 1°C and the radiators are cool as well! I’m basically waiting for the heat to come already. Yesterday, I heard some water going through the pipes but when I touched them they were still cold. I don’t know what’s going on.
I think I’ll get my plants inside the house and I also tried to look for a bigger pot for my ficus. Sadly I cannot find anything in the regular supermarkets, so I think I will go to a specialized store.
I’m happy about the outcome of the Moldovan elections (about which I wrote more broadly in the Politics community) and I’m looking forward to our elections too. They are the most anemic presidential elections to date and I’m really not sure if I should vote for the lesser evil or cancel my vote…
@tardigrada it isn’t escalation if Russia does it
@14th_cylon they’re using duckduckgo though.
@Pyflixia This one might be a very obscure thing, but back when I was in high school, I used to download music from a website called mp3ostrov.rucom (edit: it was .com, apparently). Of course, the website was in Russian and I couldn’t understand a damn thing, so I had to resort to the Chrome translation for it (Or I guided myself with the icons). But it had so much music on it, and it was really easy to get. And whatever I could not source from there, I downloaded from YouTube, but the downloader I used had too many ads.
@Faydaikin Eh, there were some efforts in the '90s-2010s to make things less dangerous, but it now seems that everyone moved away from these smh
@Joseph_Boom I just go to the biggest file, and it is usually the movie
@Kit Sorry for being late to this thread. As someone else said, if it’s also getting cold where you live, you can put things outside, in the shade. Here there are 12 degrees Celsius, but in the night it will be 1. Either way, in my country, if there is any vegetable out there we pickle it (we’re mostly doing this with cucumbers, green tomatoes carrots and cabbage, but you’re free to experiment). Here’s a simple recipe for that:

You’re basically putting these vegetables into salty water, or in a mix with water and vinegar, along with other stuff. If it’s not that cold, it’s even better, as the vegetables will become pickled faster.
You can also search for Romanian pickles or reteta muraturi on YouTube (if you’re okay with not understanding the language).
Another thing that we do is polenta. We usually eat it with cheese and sour cream, but as these require a fridge to keep, you’re free not to use them.

This video is in Romanian, but the steps seem pretty clear. Here’s what you need:
The rest should be self-explainatory.
