The crowd that murdoch and limbaugh handed the orange parasite on a platter, does not care about pesky and boring little things like facts and figures. It is an irrational mob fed with bacteria-infested red meat for two decades. They can only be reached via the basest of impulses, ripe pickings only for the most ignorant and/or shameless of conmen. It doesn’t help society that the right-wing toxic propaganda machine operates at full blast 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What’s with the number buttons being available with no “OK” or “Enter” option?
Bastards always trying to see "how far can we take this thing?", always “chasing that demon”. The same as with spicy food, once they got their hands on ghost peppers, scotch bonnets and moruga scorpions, doing hybrids, looking to break the 2 million Scoville Units barrier and above… for some reason that’s beyond my comprehension.
Because so many trump voters are low-information, rabid and impervious to fact and/or reason. They will vote orange even if he shoots someone on Fifth Avenue to death, or if there are 32-or-whatever felony indictments/verdicts.
Meanwhile, many potential Democrat voters are also low-information in their own way - impressionable, fickle and with little memory retention, they seem unable to act upon a clear and present danger until it punches them in the goddamned face (and by then of course it’s too late), somehow have normalized the orange threat and are easy prey to an algorithm pushing a “both parties are the same” divide-and-conquer propaganda.
The difference between a parasite-laden excrement chip cookie and a raisin oatmeal cookie, “But I wanted chocolate chip! bOtH cOoKiEs ArE tHe SaMe!”
There are several seas here: Red, Mediterranean, Black and Caspian. The Arctic and Antarctic Oceans are not represented, that’ll minimize the perimeters of Canada and Russia.
Overall, this is a very intriguing visualization of the political world. Fascinating stuff. Which I’m not sure I fully understand, don’t get what “topology” refers to, but to me it evokes an image highlighting different altitudes, as with mountains, valleys and coastlines.
Its’ best days are ahead, not behind. And being a decentralized entity - like Bit Torrent or Bitcoin - makes it an important social media experiment that is worth stoking the flames, and whose outcome will be much different than it was with reddit.

This image is making me a little dizzy. It’s really disorienting, but in a fun kinda way.
It’s curious, but in my mind these types of mathematical or logical visualizations are the sheep I count, trying to sense the deeper flow and patterns where the emergent oddities even out.
That’s when I know I will soon fall fast asleep, when my mind starts getting abstract.
And now back to records again.
I would imagine that the area increases significantly, a type of example of what they say about fractal coastlines theoretically being able to have a perimeter of infinite length.
EDIT: it just occurred to me that theoretically, if measuring area with a different scale, a country like Bhutan could claim to have as much surface area as… say Australia.
Or both are infinite, but since one fits inside the other, I’m getting into that weird mathematical study of infinities within infinities.

I’ve planted seven trees in the house where I’ve been living for the past fourteen years. The yard is so much more pleasant and fresh since they thrived and grown.

I can’t help but wonder what is being transmitted, the airwaves have held a constant sense of mystery and wonder ever since I was a boy, growing up in a town with no FM stations and nested between hills that blocked all FM signals from the big cities of Southern California.
But at night, when the entire region was covered in the low clouds of the marine layer, there were nooks and corners of the town where the radio signals came in loud and clear. Chasing those FM signals became a sort of hobby for some of us in town, we took along a portable radio/cassette player and recorded tapes of live late-night music from Los Angeles or San Diego.
Every once in a long while we picked up signals from stations too distant and weak (at the source) to normally make it as far as my town, but which somehow became amplified in foggy conditions, some far-out-there music from college or pirate radio stations.
The thrill of stumbling upon something like this while scanning the lower extreme of the dial, then suddenly getting a blast of Killing Joke (post-punk) or Koch (lo-fi reggae), was like finding myself in Herman Hesse’s “Steppenwolf” theater: “For Madmen Only - Price Of Admission - Your Mind”.
Through the following years and few decades, I explored AM and shortwave, and I can’t even begin to describe the sensation I felt while scanning the dial very late one night and being confronted by a Numbers Station, that nearly robotic female voice reciting: “eight, nine, five, seven, seven… nine, three, eight, one, seven… four, seven, six, one, seven…”
It was only after all this that the internet came into being, and the very first thing I did with it was search for live radio, the very first app I downloaded was Real Player (“buffering”… lol).
But the romance of electromagnetic waves persists in me, I only listen to stations that also transmit over the airwaves somewhere in the world, there’s a feel to them that online-only stations cannot seem to be able to replicate.
This mathematical visualization is beautiful, like a work of art.
But what is it exactly that we are looking at here?
The continuous vertical and horizontal violet lines, the bursts of light color like a seismograph needle, they look like a word cloud flipped 90° and seen from afar. What do they represent?
Whenever I check for a movie on RT, I go towards the capsule reviews of critics, never just the superficial score in big bold numbers.
Because if it wasn’t Gaza, it would have been another excuse to not lift a lazy goddamned finger and still delude themselves into feeling "morally superior"while sitting on their fat mediocre asses at home.
Before Harris, they also leaned heavily on the “Sleepy Joe” bullshit and “two old white men up for election, who cares”. Once the old “Sleepy Joe” element was removed from the equation, they had to find a way to keep their goddamned stubbornly lazy and ignorant narrative intact.
Now that the election is over, most of these “concerned and outraged” deadweight assholes will never think about Gaza and the plight of its’ people again. And they will keep on feeling smug about themselves.
