I use Arch btw.
I use Arch btw.
Yeah, the themeing is there. But you can easily uninstall it and other core CachyOS-packages, they’re just packages after all. (I’ve done it)
The other way would be to start with Arch and add CachyOS repositories, that way you can also profit from the v3/v4 packages.
So, how about the Cachy Browser from CachyOS? (aur)
This repository benefits from the knowledge and research provided by arkenfox, their documentation was vital to this revamp, so special thanks to their project. We do not use arkenfox’s user.js but we try to keep up with it, and we also consider it a great resource for users who want to find their own setup.
We encourage users to find their own setup and to use our default configuration as something to build on top of. This is now easier thanks to the overrides, just place your own preferences in the proper location: -> ~/.cachy/cachy.overrides.cfg
Differences from LibreWolf:
- Enhanced security & privacy.
- Gentoo patches. Taken from Gentoo’s Firefox.
- uBlock Origin added.
- Moonlight theme added.
- Preset for “Profile Sync Daemon” and Firejail/Firejail(hardened) available.
- Custom Rules for uBlock Origin.
- Custom branding.
Notes and thanks
Some of the older prefs in this project are taken from pyllyukko and many more were investigated on bugzilla.
Thanks to the whole LibreWolf community.
Hey there. Do you also use Arch btw?
Do not use Microsofts Telemetry Studio Code but Code-OSS or VSCodium.
See: https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodium/issues/267
Regarding your question Code is not powerful enough of what we do at work. There we use IntelliJ IDEA. Our frontend guys use Code as it’s enough for them and they usually are not that quality oriented, be it their tools or their product. Sadly mediocre is enough.
and CI/CD goes “f*ck you, no deployment today, Linter is unhappy”
Dude, you chose the wrong way.
sudo pacman -Syu
Cool, more free stuff! Fresh as a morning breeze.

Try Kotlin
Don’t buy trash in the first place. Better for the environment, better for your workflows.
Why has been explained below, different drives have different capabilities regarding read buffer, error correction, etc.
There are (were) very large comparison sheets and articles where different drives and manufacturers have been compared with each other.
I chose my external USB CD-drive on the premise I could flash custom firmware to it so to keep the option of new features and enhances functionality, in case someone would do this. Like how OpenWRT came to be.
If you want to enhance the ripping quality or consistency even more you can try the program “Exact Audio Copy” (EAC) or any other sophisticated CD grabber software. It is already around for aaages, that should give you an idea how tricked out specialized software was already decades ago.

I am a simple man, all I do is wine setup.exe
.
(Okay, plus different prefixes and winetricks for dxvk, etc. But in a nutshell, that’s it)
Why are the values all in degrees?
Great transparent neon retro style!
For the Piantor you can use beekeeb’s ready-to-go firmware from https://docs.beekeeb.com/piantor-keyboard
It’s QMK with support for Vial, so you can use the AppImage to define key mappings, layers and many other stuff without having to code and compile QMK. https://get.vial.today
So far that was enough flexibility for me, dodging a compile.
I’m truly very happy to hear that you found a tool which helps you!
Just keep in mind to be focussing extremely and solely on accuracy, no speeding, no bursting.
Drill the keys, the rest happens by itself.
(Up to a speed where you can comforatbly type. Then and only after that, come the specialized trainings for 2/3/n-grams, burstings, read-aheads, finger swaps, etc. - but you need an extremely solid basis for that, where even complicated words just flow out of you without any thinking. Pace yourself, get to at least a constant and repeatable 60 wpm with 99,5+% accuracy on a bad day first before going further)
Disclaimer: I’m not a lawyer, doctor, mechanic, milkman or whatever. People are different and different things work for different perks. I am just telling my personal experiences and the learning plan I chose for me (which probably is ultra-conservative) but which I believe fits my style and brain.
Floppinux anyone?
Long time ago I had a 3.5" HD floppy disk Linux with graphical user interface and ethernet and some programs on it. But 64 bit and the increased kernel size probably make this difficult nowadays.
