Bro , it’s fine. I swear bro, don’t worry bro… It’s just a prank bro
I was printing at 190, is that still too hot? It was fresh out of the vaccuseal when I attempted this, but for future attempts I’ll be sure to dry it. I’m using SainSmart PVA
Yeah I’ve done a couple prints since that one with PLA and it was flawless.
That’s an interesting idea about using petg, I’ve got some so maybe I’ll give that a try. What settings did you use for them both?
For real though I’d like a VR system (modern) that can use the steam store natively.
Depends on lots of things, but I’ll either feed it through in real time to an ongoing print until it gets in the boden tube, or for my direct drive, it’s got it’s own run out sensor so I’ll use it there and just join it up.
If no one has made them, let me know and I’ll try and make some for you.
Going to add to the climate argument, but thrown in a personal realization. I used to only buy rwd manual sporty cars but put snow tires on them in the winter. This was fine until I moved to a location that rains 9 months per year.
It was then I realized heavy torque, rwd was miserable here regardless of the tire choice. I’ve been buying AWD since. But it took me basically a decade to figure that out.
FWIW I still put snow tires on in the Winter, but I ski.
Is there a good tutorial or better yet, videos showing how to use ondsel? When I tried to use it, everything pointed at free car and the ui was too different.
Different studios take different approaches, I know when Polyphony digital was making Gran Turismo 7 they dramatically changed how they were doing audio by actually bringing the real cars into a dedicated recording studio. This isn’t the video I saw a few years ago, but it’s similar.
To my knowledge they may have been (still?) the only studio doing it this way.
Ooof I’ve got a vivedono troodon (voron clone) and that thing is constantly breaking. It’s broken right now! I might just give the thing away if someone would come get it!
Compared to my Prusa where everything just works it’s not even close. The troodon is like a creality but without the cheap budget parts being widely available.
Does anyone know what slicer profiles exist for the sv08?
Replying to my own comment because I just stumbled upon uncle Rich doing exactly this on a cheap chinese EV truck.
It’s kind of a fun take on the crappy truck too. youtube link
While most of the points are covered here, and it’s likely true that the cost to add the panel and micro inverters is high, (I built a small two panel one battery off-grid system for about $4000 to power a chest freezer)… I have a counter point that I feel should be considered.
While it’s true that it isn’t going to extend driving range by much, my thought is that it is still worth it. Take these examples:
Drove to great wolf lodge in the summer, left car in parking lot for 3 days without charge. It lost several %.
Left car in an airport lot for a week lost even more power.
Drove to NorCal, left car at Airbnb driveway, had to find charging despite the car sitting in very bright sunshine for 4 days.
Car camping
Apartment complex parking (literally one of the main negatives about EVs)
All of these would benefit from trickle charging, even if it was just to prevent the drain of sitting.
I ended up with two. The OG which is now a media center more or less and the OLED which I use off and on depending on the game.
I didn’t realize pip and venv didn’t work… that’s a pretty big deal breaker for a lot of people, myself included.
Ooof don’t mistake intent… It’s difficult over text. Rattly ass 4 cylinder isn’t a term I coined. Some sound good, some sound bad, modern engines are stifled and amazing all at the same time. Mainstream appliance 4 cylinder are designed for fuel and emissions
Most main stream, dare I say appliance cars, have what is called a rattly ass 4cyl. Not to be confused with nice sounding 4cyl engines.
I’ve also noticed new cars sound bad.
Thanks for your input. Part of the reason I’m focusing on Fedora and Fedora derived distros right now is specifically for that reason. To give new people a path to gaming success. Windows 10 and 11 basically proved Microsoft is going to monetize at any cost. Gaming has been the primary reason people stay on Windows, and that isn’t necessary anymore.
Lol I just posted that the Sony games were some of my favorites. I didn’t have any issues playing them on deck, I wonder what the difference is.
Also going to throw my vote in for prusa. I’ve got a few printers, including a vivedino troodon and the prusa has worked it’s way into my default printer spot.
It’s not just the Foss prusa slicer, it’s everything else. All the parts can be purchased or printed, their instructions for assembly are really good, their support responds quickly when needed, etc…
