Anecdotal but I have managed a fleet of over 1000 Lenovo Chromebooks for almost a decade and have found them to be solid and easily repaired when needed. We also have had no issues with a tiny fleet of Thinkpads.
The only major issue I’ve run into was the supply chain issues during the pandemic. Not unique to Lenovo but was interesting that it was exacerbated by Lenovo being found to use components from subsidiaries that regularly used forced labor in manufacturing.
Me too. Although it depends on the device. Sometimes I am the really old guy and sometimes I’m Tom Cruise.
With that said, I got a great laugh from this.
I’m sure they’ll be able to find a job with Tesla forest service, X public health, or other private companies that spring up. Of course they’ll need to get used to the “market rate” of poverty wages and no benefits but hey it’s better this way, right? /s
