No, I’m using it’s FTP based triggers. Since most cameras can upload snapshots to FTP servers when there’s motion, Shinobi has a feature to trigger motion with FTP.
Jellyfin, Shinobi, and more recently NextCloud. Looking into Home Assistant and Paperless.
Shinobi’s on a Pi4 and the Jellyfin/NC are on a mini PC.

Comcast charges $30 for unlimited data, and $25 for unlimited data + modem rental
My unpopular opinion… Comcast’s XB7 and XB8 boxes are fine hardware wise. If you’re paying for unlimited data its literally cheaper to rent their modem with unlimited.
I’m really liking the app Read You on Android, but there are many others. Pretty much any news site or blog or something you can add it by URL. Sometimes you need to add /rss to the end of it.
Your lemmy instance essentially makes a copy of the post, but the copy version can’t sync comments/votes back to the main original version

I was going to try Zoneminder but it seemed hard to setup on a raspberry pi. I’ve been super happy with Shinobi though

Deciding to host images and especially video really didn’t help, those are expensive.
It largely is, but yesterday the Recognize app broke and I have no idea how to fix it. I think the environment got messed up from an apt-get upgrade? Its little things like that I have to figure out how to fix
