The only games I’ll bother keeping installed that are over 100gb are my ESO with all the addons on PC, and Star Wars Battlefront II on PS5, and only because my friends and I play co-op every Friday night. But it’s still ludicrous. My most played game recently, Battlebit Remastered, is a whopping 3 GB lol.

I was going to install CoD: Cold War from PS+ on my PS5 since I wanted to check out the campaign but I’d never buy it. Fuckin 230 GB for that shit. I lol’d a bit and moved on to something else. So ridiculous.

Same here. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and I love it. The battery life is amazing too, I charge it once a week.

The 7 hour drive I had last week included one stop for gas, but that’s it. We usually refer to the amount of time the gps says it will take.

I have Firefox set to automatically do all that whenever I close my browser but it’s still somewhat of an issue on kbin. Not enough to bother me but it happens.

I decided to go with Plex because I can use it from my roku TVs and my game consoles. I let a few friends and family members log in as well to stream and they’re primarily doing it from game consoles. Most of those people don’t even have a desktop PC. Granted, I don’t know what features in that ballpark that Jellyfin may have now, I set this up a long time ago and just haven’t really given it much thought since then.

I came across one earlier that was about as low quality as it gets. It was a thread about some big car accident and the only reply was “/c/fuckcars”. No commentary on the actual article, no attempt at starting any actual discussion, just a pithy one liner that serves no purpose other than grabbing some upvotes and killing any chance of discussion. I still haven’t seen TOO much of that yet but I find it weird that someone would make the effort to come to the fedi just to do the same low effort shit they were doing on Reddit. It’s disappointing but at the same time, my short time on the fedi has been filled with far more actual conversation than most of my time on Reddit was.

I can make my chat bubbles be whatever color I want. My brother-in-law sometimes gives me lighthearted shit for being the green bubble or whatever in the chat but like, hey man you’re the one who put yourself in a walled garden, I don’t see it on my end.

OOoo I haven’t tried that, I’ll do that next time.

And if it’s steak especially, leave it out for a half hour to get closer to room temp before cooking.
