Unfortunately until gaming companies see their base users move to Linux I doubt any changes will happen. But this could be a very good step in that direction if YouTubers start promoting Linux is the way to go for games and web browsers. Some people don’t use anything else.
What about rclone? I’ve found it to be amazing for cloning or copying.
Classic album. Metropolis, The Model. Robots!
Kanto stands are pretty good Imo.
Amazing LPs
Ok two ideas. 1. Listen to a record you know very very well with headphones. Take the same record/headphones to a local record shop that has a turn table setup or a friend’s house and listen 2. Buy a new needle because eventually you are going to new a new one right? Try it out and if the old one isn’t that bad then you have a backup. Remember needles seem expensive 100-300 but how many records is that? Maybe less than 10 and it is the one thing that really determines how your collection sounds.
Holy Shit is that White Reaper does it again?! Setup looks good. If you can get stands for the speakers. I highly recommend it. You get a lot more clarity just having the tweeter up a bit closer to ear level. I did this a few years back and it was night and day.
I didn’t know. I’ll have a look. thanks for sharing.
Same Greek or Roman gods and mythical creatures. loki, hades, medusa, cerberus
I’m going to say because it’s short, stupid catchy. Sometimes your brain goes to random places and then logic sets in. Ignoring typical reason is what makes absurdist comedy work. We obviously have a character playing it straight trying to figure it out getting more and more upset by the illogical which makes the bit work. The music is silly and not eerie at all and then getting scared freeze frame when they continue to point out the character is not scary is the kicker and sort of makes it worth it. This was probably just a random skit they threw in last minute and thought, just have fun. A lot of hit songs are simple, obvious, stupid and catchy. Rick James thought Superfreak was a throw away song too dumb to be on the album and it’s his most recognized song.
