As others have said on this thread, it’s because systemd has fairly advanced timer system that basically requires implementing a calendar.
To do it, the command is in the screenshot systemd-analyze calendar "Tue *-12-25"
.
What, Emacs is a successful init system https://github.com/a-schaefers/systemE
Clojure, a simple grammar but most of the vocabulary is imported from another language.
Fun fact, Emacs added a command because of this comic, M-x butterfly
.
The original reddit sub wasn’t wlw specific either, but I can change the display name to “They Were Roommates” if people want.
It is! I wanted sappho.club, but some bastard is sitting on the domain.

Either of those should work.
There was some discussion of this in one of the admin chats and this seems to be a Hetzner issue. You’re post on SDF has the correct metadata. Also compare my post here on feddit.uk (Hetzner) to this one here (Linode).
Shameless self promo, UK specific shitposts:
A standalone VR headset from Valve has been rumoured for a while, maybe this for getting games targeted at Facebook’s Quest to run.
The Portal games. They show how games can build alternative realities in a fundamentally more tangible way than other mediums while not assuming previous experience with games.
When games take away control too often, or for really minor things. Unsighted, a great indie game, was terrible for this. It would constantly rip control from you to slowly pan to a door opening or enemy spawning.
Beeper’s one, though they only fork the Element GUI which isn’t affected by this.
A better solution is a curated list of tags users can attach to their posts.
I understand some communities wouldn’t want unrestricted tags, but it’d be nice if this was an option they could configure. It’d be annoying for say a gaming community to have to add a tag for every game ever, or a music comm every band ever.
The Binding of Isaac, just some drawings on the ground that don’t actually tell you anything.
Pretty good. I haven’t had to play around with proton launch options in a good while, Valve and the Heroic team have done a good job making it all plug and play. I don’t generally play the latest releases and am not really interested in multiplayer though, so YMMV.
Just in case anyone else stumbles across this and is confused, I’ll explain in more detail.
On Linux there are two display server protocols, the very old X11 and the newer Wayland, which was designed as a successor to X11 by its maintainers.
Elon Musk announced today that he is renaming Twitter to X (yes, just X). The above posts takes the mick out of this on this by announcing a social media website called Wayland, i.e. the successor to Musk’s X.
Been playing quire a bit of the new Dragon Age. I normally don’t play games close to release, and I’ve never played a DA game before, but I watched a review and it seemed like something I was in the mood for. Been enjoying it quire a bit, more than I expected. I just really need to do something about my thermals.
