“I’m knittin’ like a fuckin electric nan”
I’ve actually been thinking of printing a kayak like this.
It doesn’t matter why the republican base believes in their party. Incidentally, you’re not entirely wrong about why, but they’ve had rebellion too: see the TEA party.
The democrat party strategy is different. Their base isn’t aggrieved axe-grinders. They’re earnest believers in the system. The problem is that the leadership doesn’t actually want to accomplish anything that would threaten corporate profits. Trump is great for them, since all they have to do is not be him! Policies be damned.
It’s because democrats are unwilling or unable to deliver on real policies for working people. Of course, republicans are the same, but they more or less don’t even pretend to, choosing instead to whip up their constituents with culture war nonsense. Nobody has any faith in things improving. Repubs just want to get revenge on their cultural enemies, and democrats (voters) just want to prevent a total slide toward the far right.
Dem politicians can’t whip up excitement because it is impossible to get people excited by neoliberal policies, but that’s really all they have. Vague platitudes only work so many election cycles in a row before voters just can’t even pretend to be excited anymore.
tl:dr republicans are awful but at least their base believes in them.
Thanks. I tried flashing the previous one available (the one I was using before taking this OTA), but it also wasn’t working. I’ll keep checking the site for the new build next week, and hope that one boots for me.
Do it. If I’d had nice backups, I could have wiped and done a clean install. Instead I’m praying this gets fixed so I do lose about a month of pictures and all my 2fa tokens :p
I could not get twrp to boot from fastboot. I’ll look into flashing the stock firmware. Is there a chance that would break anything? I’m somewhat hopeful that an updated LOs4microG is released soon since the one I installed has now been marked as broken.
I couldn’t get twrp to boot :( Any twrp images for my phone are a few years old
I can’t quite figure this out. I can enable ADB from Lineage recovery, but I don’t know where my data is. I can ‘adb shell’, cd /dev, and I see a ton of shit but nothing seems like storage. I do ‘df -aH’ in /dev and it is like 5.7 Gigs free of 6. There’s no way that’s all my pictures and stuff.
Learn to model things in CAD. That’s what is limiting me from getting real use out of my printer. It’s fun to print models you find online, but the real value is in printing your own designs.
I currently pay Mullvad with a recurring charge on my credit card.
Probably yes. This would be for if you are starting fresh. It is a modified Debian install.
Yunohost is self hosting. You install Debian on your computer/server at home and run the Yunohost setup script.
Yeah, I can’t fuck with Docker either. Check out Yunohost if you want something that is actually easy to get up and running.
Interesting. I’ll look into that. Learning CAD has been a real barrier to getting good use out of my printer.
Can you expand on this? You can import a photo into freeCAD?
Love it. Been using it for almost 10 years now. I host Nextcloud, Navidrome and Gotify. I have used it for other services over the years. Super easy and really friendly and responsive support.
In Thai, the number ‘5’ is pronounced like “haa”, so Thai people write 555 to signify laughter, similar to ‘lol’.
This right here is what keeps me from charging for Jellyfin access.
Fuck this dude. The day after the supreme court ruled that cities can outlaw homelessness, he leveraged the ruling in CA. This is the type of shit you get from a auper-lib governor, in a super-lib state. To be clear: fuuuuuck the republicans, but dems aren’t actually trying to do the shit they represent either. I’m not here with some alternative that will fix our shit real soon, but CA is a good example of the dems having all the power, and still working against the people.
