Link doesn’t work on mbin.

People have been conditioned to believe that determination of an act’s morality is somehow changed when when carried out on a large enough scale, or when performed by certain entities.
Yeah, probably. The fact that you use mullvad is exposed to your financial institution, but as long as mullvad doesn’t keep logs (which has been legally tested to show that they do not), I don’t think it really matters all that much for most people.
Lol, torrents aren’t going anywhere. Decentralized and entrenched as fuck.
Gross.
Not Lemmy, but mbin instance fedia.io doesn’t have any of that nonsense.
Does Wire still store metadata on who you message? That seems potentially more damaging than Signal’s phone number requirement, at least since the switch to being able to hide your number from everyone.

So then that lower metabolism stuff isn’t true?
No, it’s not. Just a coping mechanism for people to feel better about not being able to stick to a diet necessary for weight loss. Calories in, calories out. Maintaining a calorie deficit (i.e. consuming less than you burn) is what results in weight loss.
Absolutely not; and everyone attaching their actual identity to it are insane imo.
Just go with GrapheneOS. Nothing else is even remotely close tbh.
How do you avoid “hoarding”?
I dont. Hard drives are increasingly cheap/large. I have to really dislike something to delete it. I have a fair amount of content that I don’t really plan on watching again, but someone I know might like it so i just leave it typically.
It’s significantly better than all other options either way. Anyone who cares at all about privacy/security and can, should, in my opinion.
You are quite likely to regret going down this route. Should do what you have to to get the drives properly connected.
Wish people had got this animated over the discount rootkit it shipped with.
Depends on how you define stealing.
Well you should probably use the actual definition. Copying information is never stealing. Whether or not piracy is ethical is a debate you can engage in if you want, but either way, it’s still not theft. Words have meanings.
