I disagree. Good people love bomb. People that love bomb don’t always do it for nefarious (from their perspective) reasons.

I’m a former mormon, and I can tell you that love bombing (from a cultists perspective) is never from ill intent. They are just trying to share “the truth” and they believe that if you adopt “the truth” everything about your life will be made better.
If someone is love bombing you for an organization, first thing to do is investigate that organization. Read the stuff they don’t want you to read. Particularly, don’t pull that information from their media/materials. You should seek out the opinions of ex-members of the organization to get a real feel for what it’s all about.
For example, imagine if the rotary club was trying to recruit you. What do you think an exrotarian would say? Well, you can google it. And, surprise, it’s mostly “Yeah, I moved and just sort of lost interest”.
Now go visit /r/exmormon and see the miles of shit they have to say about previous membership.
That, to me, is the acid test. Are exmembers that way because it was just sort of a “meh” event. Or did they get there because the organization was abusive?
It’s mostly a religious belief. There are a couple of Bible verses that say things like “the earth will be rolled up like a scroll” and “spread to the four corners of the earth”.
Biblical literalists cannot handle the Bible being incorrect about anything, so it’s everyone else that’s wrong.

Visibility is way better and traffic rules play to your favor.
When you back in, you already have right of way. Traffic has to wait for you to park and you aren’t reversing into cross traffic.
If you park forward, when you go to leave you have to worry about cross traffic and your head/eyes are far removed from where you need to be looking. You don’t have right of way which means a lot of awkward mashing the brakes when a car or pedestrian pops out of your blind spot.
In short, you can park faster and more accurately and you can leave faster and safer.
The only reason to park forward is there’s a line of cars behind you that won’t let you reverse into a spot. Otherwise, it’s always the right choice.
I using and deploying to kubernetes. Nerdctl has a docker API but it’s completely backed by k8s. So, for regular dev I’d just need a k8s cluster and not k8s + something else to build the images and push them into the k8s image repository.
WSL2 is Linux on a virtual machine. Docker for Windows is running in a VM.
I’m also a weirdo though, I’m using podman instead (and may switch to nerdctl).
You can spin up your own email server tomorrow and start communicating with the world through the email protocol standards.
You can, but as I said, because you aren’t a know provider every message from your server will end up in the spam folder of everyone using Gmail.
You won’t have a functional system unless you back it with either Gmail or Outlook.
In a quest to kill spam, email has become somewhat unhealthy and centralized. Setting up a new email provider is a lot more difficult today than it was years ago. Sending a message to the established providers from a new provider will often end up in spam.
Corporate media likes elections to be close and exciting because that draws ratings. Hence the reason they put on kid gloves for the idiot fascist.
