It’s definitely been feeling like skyrim in space to me and I love it.

Honestly I rarely do. I almost exclusively use the for you page and click what I want to watch
I’m in the US and I would not consider Facebook to be “extremely Left” at all
They’re working on the API right now. Kbin is much newer than Lemmy. Lemmy’s been around for like 3 years while Kbin is a few months old.
Was the iris a full circle or like a ring shape around more white eye?
Yeah a bit of that feeling on Kbin, just refer to federated stuff as Lemmy. I’m fine with it though. Saw someone compare Lemmy to being the USA while Kbin is Canada
The Calamity wiki is really helpful for finding out how to progress in the mod. It has a step by step guide to reach you the order of things
You’re in for a good time! I definitely recommend grabbing the Calamity mod.
Since Lemmy.world and sh.itjust.works had fully opened sign ups with no vetting during the big migration, Beehaw was getting a lot of trolls and spammers coming from those instances. Since Lemmy is kind of new there weren’t enough moderation tools for them to fully deal with that with their team so they defederated until those tools exist.
I got reminded of IRC a bit ago, wonder if that’s gonna get a resurgence. I was thinking maybe something like lemmy/kbin with a built in IRC like how kbin has the microblogs.
I hope we get a way to easily access our followed list or like shortcuts like RES. Can sub to a lot and just shortcut the ones I really want to check out on their own.
Definitely time to try it out. See if the scabs really knew what they signed up for.
If you’re on desktop you can use the Kbin enhancement userscript which moves it to the top, also shows peoples tags like @lemmy.world
They may be posted by people that are on lemmy, you can mouse over their username to see what instance they’re from. Otherwise you can also install the kbin enhancement script with tampermonkey or something that would make anyone who isn’t from kbin have an @(instance) after their name.
I’m on Kbin and haven’t been seeing anything like that. And yeah there’s always the possibility it was coming from another instance
You can sell the scan data to certain merchants, price seems to depend on the amount of stuff on the planet.
