  • Not op, I have AMD Ryzen 7, but I haven’t had the issue. I have all Windows bloatware un-installed or disabled, though.

Edit: I had one issue (one time, so I forgot about it), but I think it was a user error (me). I had to uninstall Linux because I either didn’t update Windows or Linux (I think it was Linux), and their security systems were in conflict. Windows wouldn’t even start until I used the BIOS to uninstall Linux. I had a backup, but a lost of little bit of data because I couldn’t figure out how to make a new one. I reinstalled the updated version, and I didn’t have any more issues.

  • Online is always a pain with insurance providers. My partner switched to online during covid. When the pandemic ended, we had to switch to a way shittier provider. Her doctors leave the practice once a month, no joke. The new doctors always forget to refill her medications or straight-up say, “they need to see her first,” even if she had literally just seen the other doctor.

All that being said, it’s helped her a lot. I’m the one with ADD, but she has really bad anxiety. It helps that she doesn’t have to go out to see her provider. We also live in the country, and she hates the drive/ can’t drive, so that’s nice too. I still go in person because in person stuff always works better with my ADD/ scheduling.

  • When you’re out, use DEET and cover yourself. Try to only apply it to your clothes. It’s toxic to humans. Are you out a lot? If so, I’d be worried about ticks and toxic plants as well.

If you have control of the land around you, make sure there’s no stagnant water nearby. If you want to keep a pond, manage your mosquito population using local species if possible. In some places, you can also report stagnant bodies of water.

If they’re inside, check your window screens. If you can’t afford that, use a mosquito net and check my first answers.

My Mom’s been trying to get that done for years, but we live in 'Merica. Her insurance considered it cosmetic, even though it has a health impact, like you said.

I was surprised they gave her the bellyband, and that’s actually really helped. She’s never had a terrible diet, but she was pushing 300lb +. I’m a foot taller than her, and I weigh 145lb for reference.

She now weighs 165lb, I believe; It’s a sensitive topic. She still has to cover herself in baby powder and wears compression EVERYTHING (pants, sleeves, etc…) to hide her folds. God damn the American Healthcare system.

  • Sometimes that’s how seeding content goes. Most content in the beginning, is recycled and posted in mass. Even though it’s been out there, you’ve consolidated/ curated the content. That then draws in new users. Eventually, the goal is that they post their own content.

We’re all just trying to get the ball rolling without spamming.

If someone puts care into collecting/ curating their content, there’s is a good chance they’re using an automated posting script (usually python). I wouldn’t hold it against them, though. Even if you’re making you’re own content, you can build a cache of content and then automate the posts. You just have to worry about topical/ current events.

I used to make content based on Planetside 2 (for ps4) that was semi successful. I never wanted to make money, and I spent a lot of my own. I even caused the old sub reddit to flourish (I even made charts, they’re on /r/ps4planetside2).

Long story short, though, it’s people who want to create a community.
