You have to renew your driver’s license every 10 years. That means in the worst case scenario, the image they’re using of you could be 10 years out of date.

Those images are also not detailed enough to be used for facial recognition. Sure, it could help narrow down the list of suspected people, but they’re crazy if they think they’d be able to pinpoint someone based on what they looked like 5-10 years prior.

I suspect these powers are being used for something else more sinister. Immigration, for example, to clamp down on people who have licenses and are delivery drivers, or taxi drivers for example.

I did make the distinction between him and many other people who are behind bars despite being innocent or are behind bars because their crime was unjustly inflated to include other charges (planted evidence) or their ethnicity/ socio-economic group played some role in their disproportionate sentencing.

A lot of this injustice comes from people like Chauvin, who abuse their power and in this case felt the repercussions of his scrum actions. As I mentioned in the other comment, him getting stabbed is beyond the sentencing he was given and is therefore undeserved. He was not given a death sentence and I don’t think he should receive one.

It was a punny comment on the “couldn’t have happened to a better person”, where I was arguing that he wasn’t a better person, which is why he is where he is.

I think his sentence is an example of the justice system working (though it only happened because the situation became so popular and widespread, and incited protests and revolt everywhere), but him getting stabbed isn’t part of his sentence. The guy should get an opportunity to reform as much as anyone else in prison though.

I know what you mean, but he’s in prison precisely because there are better people. He’s quite literally among the worst.

There are thousands upon thousands of people incarcerated in the US, and many of them don’t deserve to be there. This power-drunk, murderous thug genuinely deserves to be in prison, as well as everything that comes with the territory of being a corrupt cop among a herd of inmates.

Best refresh to GW2 in ages. The story was awesome, the world building, the characters etc. Felicia Day killed it with Zojja, and I’m super excited to see more.

The kryptis are awesome. They look great but could have more variety in the way they attack, the way there were so many different types of forged or mordem, but I’m still up for more.

Wizards tower is my most frequented hub now and I think it’ll stay that way. Everything’s within reach and the portal scroll makes it as easy to get to as other hubs like mistlock sancuary

The vault daily system is the best change in years. I’m actually encouraged to go out and do content daily and the idea of getting rewards from it means it’s never wasted effort. I had a bunch of mats in my bank so that legendary starter kit got me far enough that all I need to finish the legendary Bolt is a gift of battle. Another fantastic addition.

Couldn’t praise this expac enough, and it’s not even over. Major changes to relics and reach profession will get another weapon in a few months time to bolster the gameplay. Another expansion is already being worked on so no content droughts between expacs.

Got the legendary chest for the Bolt. Turns out I need to get one gift of battle and some mystic clovers to finish my legendary. What would’ve cost me hundreds of gold, is going to cost me pretty much nothing.

It’s awesome. Of course, subsequent legendaries won’t benefit from all of my collected materials, but it’s still far better than going at it from scratch.

I can’t wait until we get the greatswords!
