My friend had this issue recently, it turned out to be his CPU overheating, his event log also showed no details of the cause, it was only when he installed a temp monitor and kept it open on his 2nd screen that he saw his CPU was hitting the max allowed temp just before getting the power cut.

When you say looks like shit, are you referring to the appearance of it or the functionality looks shit?

I suppose any type of upload would work really, depends how “lightweight” you wanted to stay.

There is plenty of subscription or always online software out there that is cracked and fully working, Adobe products, Microsoft office, Spotify, etc.

Obviously any service that can’t be replaced with a free or open source alternative won’t work, first thing I think that would be on the chopping block would be anything that uses GPS, though that’s just a guess, I don’t really have intimate knowledge of this

I switched to Firefox not too long ago, the only place I can’t replace chrome is my Chromebook. I can’t find a good Firefox copy, tried using both android and Linux versions but it loses alot of controls functionality (eg grestures on the trackpad)

Easiest solution I’ve found is to install the game on a Windows pc, then transfer the files using something like FileZilla, then adding the game as a non steam game in desktop mode and enabling proton via properties in steam.

Every game I’ve tried this with has worked

Any chance it only redirects the watch URLs on YouTube? So you can use YouTube to find the videos and on clicking them links it takes you elsewhere?
