This one hits home for me. A very long story short…
The artist limelight was intoxicating.
The art was a comic strip for a good cause - a stand againt the giant FOX tv network.
The crime was: being uncivil, pompous, defending bad grammar and spelling, and other odd behaviors such as siding with the movie villain in Roger Rabbit (1988).
The repercussions and damage impact was international – I was able to offend a Canadian.

Both art and artist are now retired.

Also the three people from the “distracted boyfriend” meme were all stock photo models.
