It is actually, Canada is the state. The US is the weird one with multiple states.

Piracy has always been a distribution issue. There are definitely greedy lazy people who will always want more for less, but the organized effort required for piracy only happens when fair access is impossible.
Ooo, nice fork.
Too bad it doesn’t fix the 17 other context options though. If I’m getting software specifically to circumvent W11, that means I can modify my installation. There’s so much more I’d do than a 7zip fork.
Sadly, most of my windows useage is going to be fleet machines, so even NanaZip is beyond my reach. W11 is still worse than W10.
Ugh, outlook has been dropping support for email standards for a while now, it’s getting close to a proprietary standard now.
The best sandbox is made of bare metal.
I need to click twice to get to the 7zip options.
It’s a waste of resources
That’s basically the whole OS at this point, no?
I agree that the vast majority of ads are manipulative, but are there not legitimate uses in notification? Like posters annoucing an event, requests for scientific trials, or even lost posters.
That sounds like it’s correcting too aggressively. Perhaps it should take into account the last three matches before adjusting your ranking.
Sadly, google cats aren’t part of the cat distribution system.
This is also data from an opt-in survey of only one kind of user. The real number of Linux users is probably somewhat higher due to the higher level of privacy conscientiousness in the community.
I think the more proper definition is 1kspm, so not only 1 rocket per minute, but also all the other sciences to match it.
I ended up completely rebuilding my base once I unlocked trains. Hexes everywhere, each one a cell that peoduced one thing, and then I just built enough to support 500smp IIRC. My first rocket launch was from a 500smp factory with no logistics. It took me 80 hours to do that though. XD
Megafactories are those games where instead of launching one expensive rocket, you launch one or more per minute. They’re usually at least 5 times larger than an endgame factory, and usually stop growing when the FPS drops below 30.
ViaBedrock would be cool if it at least allowed building. World archival is neat though.
I doubt I’d be banned on my friend’s personal realm, unless microsoft have automatic anti-cheat running even there.
With the sole exception of playing on a bedrock server. I’ve looked for Java mods to facilitate this, but only found the reverse (understandably).
Factory grow, yes yes, much grow yes!
There have been many an issue with YT changing notification settings, or even unsubscribing people. I don’t know if they still do that, but it used to happen to enough people at once that channels would mention checking your notification settings after seeing double digit percentage drops in base viewership.
I’ve just realised that I independently came up with the idea for federated services while imagining how to make yt better over 5 years ago.
Cool!
I’ve seen several people do it already. Maybe not enough to scare off data harvesters, especially when they copy paste so precisely, but it’s not a bad idea and not difficult to do. Perhaps claiming copyright in your about page would be enough?
Interesting claim, let’s see:
Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Argentina*, Armenia, Bulgaria, Burundi, Cambodia, Canada*, China, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Costa Rica, Cuba, The Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Indonesia, Iran, Laos, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nepal*, Netherlands (country, not kingdom), North Korea, Pakistan*, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, The Solomon Islands, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, Turkey, Vanatu, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Taiwan (to some extent), all use Provinces.
While Australia*, Austria*, Brazil*, Germany*, India*, Malaysia*, Mexico*, The Federated States of Micronesia*, Myanmar, Nigeria*, Palau, Somalia*, South Sudan*, Sudan*, The United States*, and Venezuela*, all use States.
More interestingly, the asterisks denote federal systems of government (the rest are mostly unitary or regional). Almost every state system is also a federal system, while most provinces aren’t sovereign.
Thus, Canada is the weird one out, basically using states while calling them less than states. As usual, they do everything backward. I’m so proud! 🇨🇦
