A long time ago I was the guinea pig/first user for a company developed system.
I often had my 1 year old at the time son with me when I worked on the weekend. He had a great time smashing buttons on the keyboard and randomly clicking the mouse on the test version. He found most of the bugs.
So the question is how big is the demand?
If the industry clearly advertised the weight limits of each model it would help. This would allow a company to offer a niche product. If the demand is there, the company will succeed.
From what I have seen, unhappy marriages are very common in highly religious/conservative groups.
Most of these groups have stupid “No Sex before marriage” rules. So two horny young adults (teenagers in some cases) get married quickly. Pregnancy follows immediately and they start being parents before they are fully mature.
Fast forward 5-6 years later and they don’t even like each other anymore. The smart ones do the adult decision and divorce.
Way too many of them live misery constantly bickering while claiming to be “happily married” because “divorce is a sin”. They then spend most of their time complaining about their spouses. The kids of course have all sorts of baggage from growing up in the toxic environment.
That is severe nitrogen (N) deficiency.
Three ways this happens:
Not enough N added in fertilizer/compost etc.
Organic matter with high Carbon:Nitrogen ratio locking up the N as it decomposes. In order for bacteria/fungi to break down plant material they need a C:N ratio of 30:1. Wood chips are 250-500:1.
Over-watering. Bacteria convert all types of nitrogen in aerobic conditions to NO2- and then NO3-. Both NO2- and NO3- are highly water soluable and leach out of the pot quickly. In severely waterlogged soils anaerobic conditions occur. This triggers bacteria to convert NO3- to N2 gas and it returns to the atmosphere.
In poorer countries, the investment into each child is minimal. By the time they were 8 or 9 years old they were expected to contribute to the family. Higher child mortality rates also plays into this, as most families lose a few kids to disease etc. Children are seen as a commodity that they control to make the parents/grandparents lives better.
In industrialized societies the amount of resources dedicated to each child is more than the the resources dedicated to 5 or 6 families in poorer countries. Children are dependent on their parents well into adulthood. As the cost to raise the kids increase the average family size decreases because of limited resources.
They carry a gun, in an oversized pickup truck, with racist police “supporting” decals as they drive recklessly around?

Sigh… “Small town and shit job market” This has been an ongoing trend for centuries. It’s the major reason for the ongoing trend of urbanization around the world. Labor shortages or oversupply in specific location or fields is constant.
In urban areas, the concentration of people and employers, historically has allowed for a better job market.
The long-term effect of this population means that a high percentage of people living in rural are whiny scared people who are highly resistant to change.

It was pretty easy in creating new original documents.
Editing existing documents was an absolute nightmare. The list was extremely long of random shit that would happen we you deleted some text.

When I was teaching my older son to drive, I took him through it. My recommendation: “Never turn left at it. Turn right and find a safer way to go the other way.”

I have priced out Airbnb vs. hotels quite a few times over the past few years at my spouses request. I have never stayed at any of them as they have always been much more expensive for shittier accomodations. It simply doesn’t make any sense to me.
This past christmas, renting 2 hotel rooms at a nice hotel was cheaper than the worst dive of an Airbnb near my in-laws.
My library has booth Libby and Hoopla.
Hoopla is by far the better service. 10 books per month with a huge library to choose from. No waiting for somebody to return it in a line.
I use both mine and my wife’s library card so I am going through 20 books per month. Plus aother 5-6 on Libby.
What most people think of as being “really smart” is polymaths. These are people that suck up knowledge from many fields and make novel connections. It is believed that they are extremely rare. Some even argue they don’t exist
Modern academia focuses on a high degree of specialization which excludes most polymaths. So we have specialists that are highly intelligent in their narrow field of expertise but ignorant in most everything else. The bulk of the “smart” 1% are these types of people.
I am waiting for the same thing. The amount of shit you have to disable, block, or unistall on android is getting ridiculous. It’s getting really old.
Most of the new “features” that either apple or google add anymore are absolute trash. I am constantly having to go through the settings and disable shit.
The stock android is so full of non-romovable crap that a launcher is required anymore.
It’s the same for windows, win11 is only usable with a launcher like startallback.
The Jordanian military has quite a bit of U.S. military equipment like F-16’s and Blackhawks.
They also have 3000 troops stationed. Mainly for support roles and cooperative efforts.
Jordan is a long term ally of the U.S. and honestly not a bad spot to visit if you have a chance. I’ve been there probably a dozen times on business.

Or just maybe, your product sucks and people are finding alternatives to avoid dealing with you.
Currently pirating or streaming from a secondary site is faster, better quality, and easier to use. It’s really not that hard to figure out.
Most companies don’t bother to setup a shell company. International businesses often have an existing distributors in several different countries.
When one country gets sanctioned a distributor in a neutral country suddenly increases their local sales by the same amount that the one in the sanctioned company used to have.
I used to work in international business a decade ago. I learned about a customer on the Saudi peninsula who purchased a huge amount of product (1,000x more than their entire market). It was strangely enough to cover Iran not that far away across the Persian Gulf.
Human intelligence is segmented and specialized. People who are smart at few things are usually very dumb at others. A person who can speak 9 languages can’t do more than basic math. An expert computer programmer, who can’t figure out how to keep a plant alive. Etc…
Polymaths are very rare. Very few people have advanced understanding and skills in multiple areas.
I have been attempting to use Linux for 20 years now. It has found its niche used for me over the years. For example when my kids were toddlers they had a old machine that defaulted to PBSkids. Before that I used it to run a gaming server.
Currently I have a old laptop that I dual boot with win 10 and whatever Linux distro I feel like trying at the moment.
The win 10 on the laptop barely meets the minimum hardware requirements and takes 10 minutes to load.
I have tried a few different distros and always had a few issues with the setup. All sorts of different ones - screen orientation, WiFi connection, printer hell, keyboard layout etc. Takes me days to fix the bugs or give up.
Mint takes 2 minutes to load and so far is working seamlessly. It’s apt manager is the easiest I have used in a Linux distro. It found my network printer automatically. It runs smoother than windows 7 did on my laptop.
With Microsoft ending win 10 for the shitty win 11, I imagine many people are looking for alternatives. If Mint continues to work to make setup and usage easy, it will gain market share rapidly. It’s not all the way there yet, but it’s a hell of a lot better than before.
