I think the primary thing is that he mouthed off about something he didn’t understand, and then doubled down at every possibility. The scrutiny generated by this has then revealed that he’s objectively not a good programmer, which begs the question why he feels he has any authority at all in this arena. I haven’t heard of any egregious harassment heading his way over this, so I’m curious why you’re so invested in defending him.

Bought one of these a while back, and it’s been great. Yeah, you can get hundreds of cheapo nozzles for the price, but not having to deal with increasingly shitty prints and nozzle changes has made it worthwhile for me, at least. I don’t even use abrasives, mainly just matte PLA.
