Which is a hole in thier own logic, my point entirely.
Which is a hole in thier own logic, my point entirely.
I made a single point, that soy conspiracies are racist and dismiss the civilizations that were raised on them. You latched onto one bit in a dismissive (or ignorant) attempt to debate bro with me. Which is especially jarring if you agree with me when you could have just added a point.
Just add what you want to say as if we were having a normal conversation. Do you talk to people you know like this? So fucking exhausting dude.
Except it’s not chance dude. Soy is one of the richest and cheapest sources of protein.
Flawed in that a staple of civilizations’ diets is somehow comparable to a known intoxicant?
And it’s effect on the human body is widely known. You’re not making the point you’re trying to.
Humans have been cultivating soybeans for an estimated 9000 years. To think that a food staple in so many cultures worldwide is not healthy is completely xenophobic. Maybe don’t tell him that, but the framing of different cultures might be helpful. If it wasn’t healthy humans wouldn’t have thrived spending resources to grow it.
Wild with all those examples you still think you’re using it correctly.
Marginalized people are poor folk who live in hunger in a world where we are fully capable of feeding them, all in the name of capitalist profits. Marginalized people are women seeking abortion care in underground clinics because it’s easier to oppress them once they are trying to take care of a child. Fuck man I could go on and on about ACTUAL Marginalized groups. Immigrant communities whose labor is exploited and then vilified in the media.
It’s appalling you would use the term in regards to a bunch of rich people cosplaying as bohemian hippies to go party in the desert. You’re understanding of who goes to BM is two decades outdated. Thanks for the honest reply though that shit is too funny, gonna try to get it to the front page.
How does “there are marginalized parts of society you’re allowed to berate” relate to the original question about burning man. I doubt I am the only one having trouble with the statement as that post is sitting at a -7, I’m just the only one morbidly curious enough to engage with you about it.
To me that seems like a statement that degenerates the term marginalized to the point that the word becomes meaningless.
And yet you have yet to provide a coherent explanation for your original post 🙄
Ok I understand the context of your original message now. It was completely nonsensical.
Marginalized in the context of burning man.
People are free to do what they want. It’s this self assured BS they use to justify doing drugs in the desert that the majority of the criticism comes from.
Had a close friend who became a burner. She compared her fund raising for a party to my wife’s political organizing. I can’t even wrap my head around how self delusional it is.
No, I am trying to understand your statement of “marginalized parts of society”.
Are you claiming tech bros are a marginalized part of society?!
Grocery parking annoys me because it’s also one of the more congested parking lots I have to deal with. Not being able to back in makes leaving a pain.
Hey friendo, your post was short and there wasn’t a ton of room to read between the lines. Most people that shorthand the issues of corporate sterilized inclusivity, imo the actual issue with the writing, into the word “woke” (don’t forget the quotes!) don’t have a very nuanced or original take.
If you have a more detailed or nuanced opinion you’re likely to get less blow back.
I watch it with my kids. They love it, the cheese doesn’t bother me through their eyes.
Rofl good bonus panel is good.
