what happened with the original Minecraft Forge?
AI hype being 99% bullshit doesn’t mean machine learning doesn’t have its actual use cases. CG is one of them

yes he’s a scientist and has a lot of videos debunking tech bro pseudoscience, I just think it’s worth knowing how muvh of an unhinged asshole he is
thunderf00t is a raging misogynist. Like he made hundreds of gamergate videos obsessing over this one woman for daring to criticize the portrayal of women in videogames
Why the heck is this in solarpunk memes
Meme is right, in 2024 poor HiDPI scaling is a software issue
SMS is still the dominant message format in some countries
I’m quite sad as a VR and HDR gamer because I really do want to switch. I have a steam deck, it works great for flatscreen gaming, but general HDR support across the linux ecosystem is apparently lacking and my headset manufacturer told me that they don’t support linux and couldn’t until the VR ecosystem they rely on supports it
this is exactly the kind of thing the senior engineers above me at my last job would use… Their code made me cry
love it
The statement “communism is a conservative authoritarian dogma” being backed up by referencing the idea of the dictatorship of the proletariat is… definitely something
It would at least be a very intensive process to do so, and that doesn’t even solve that there would be other ways to glean the same information without accessing it directly. For example, one could create an element with 100% screen width set by CSS and query the element’s size instead of using the simpler window.innerHeight. How do you detect every possible way a script could determine the viewport dimensions?
once the javascript gets that information from the browser it’s kinda impossible to prevent it from being included in a request without just blocking all requests. It could be anywhere in arbitrarily structured data and/or encrypted
It seems like the consensus is that the stories probably stem from a real guy because that’s deemed more likely than no person existing as a basis for the story, but no, there is not material evidence for jesus christ’s existence
Where did you find that his goal was to prove Jesus wasn’t who Christians claim to be? From what I’ve read about Lee Strobel, he was sort of an atheist by default and converted when his wife did. He became a pastor and only wrote the Case for Christ more than a decade later
See windows drives me insane, but this probably would too
I upgraded for free from windows 7
