Dude there’s like, maybe twenty real games in that pile. Most of which I wouldn’t want to play on my steam deck anyways, not that I’ve ever wanted to play a battlefield game, but I sure don’t want to try and aim with a controller.

It deeply saddens me that, as a hot garbage fire, Ark is still the best dinosaur game for years.
Sorry that the developers don’t cater to making life easier for people that haven’t bought their game lmao what an entitled take
Ah yes, how greedy of a company, to checks notes stop you from telling their online distribution service that you own something you don’t.
Pirate all you want, live how you want. But valve is a company, they do sorta have to follow those pesky laws and regulations.
As someone that couldn’t get into modern fallout games, but actually loved going back to 1 and then 2, this just sounds like 2 but worse.
They’re bigger specifically so they can qualify as “light trucks” instead of regular vehicles, which means they have more more lax emissions standards.
“Socialism will transition to communism” is just a communism thing. Social democracy is different. It doesn’t involve communism. Because communism is cringe.
Because exclusively that’s the communist viewpoint. There are different socialist ideologies than communism. It’s a rectangle vs square situation.
That’s neither exclusive to communism nor has it been achieved in most purportedly communist states (I hear Vietnam’s actually been having a good run of things but I can’t speak to specifics).
Socialism != communism.
They’re mask off on hexbear/lemmygrad, they try to be subversive on lemmy.ml. I have in fact instance blocked the first two, you can usually dodge them on .ml. Lemmy is far less enjoyable if you have not blocked them.
Commune-ism sounds like a lovely idea on a small scale, you gotta solve a lot of political problems to make it work on anything bigger. Social democracies like the scandinavians seem to be the best way we currently know to run a humanitarian society.
“America does bad things, so I should support china/russia instead!”
“Stalin/mao were (anything besides utterly reprehensible dictators)”
“Communism could’ve worked if-“
Honorable mention to thinking this coy “I’m going to act all hyper respectful and yet also like I know more than anyone about anything” bullshit gets you anywhere.
The steam deck isn’t really meant to replace your home consoles. I personally use mine when I travel or know it’ll be slow at work, or when I just can’t be assed to get out of bed.
Uh huh, and I’m sure you’re privy to the exact financial breakdowns?
If someone could actually provide a better service than steam at a better price point, they would. The epic games store is shit, uplay is shit, origin is shit.
If you can’t tell the difference, does it matter?
Of course this gets more into Russel’s teapot than occam’s razor territory.
If you assume the only way to simulate an infinite number is storing it in bits, sure. Also, have we ever really done anything to require representing a truly infinite number?
A company that grows 1% every year will always have “record profits”. It’s a fun buzzword to throw around, but there’s better injustices to focus on, like the lack of CEOs getting sacked or facing a reduction in compensation.
Sure! That’s part of due diligence. But in case you’re still convinced it’s some big conspiracy, just look at Valve. Valve has a proven track record of doing whatever they can to NOT fuck with Nintendo’s legal team. You think they didn’t make sure the game was square?
A small but vocal subset of turbovirgins loudly denouncing it for plagiarizing pokemon, who even the pokemon company themselves is fed up with lmao. The pokemon company’s investigation of the game is basically them saying “we’ll do our due diligence but please shut up they don’t seem to have done anything wrong”
Dude like half the kids at my school didn’t say it. For some reason, I would only ever do it after the 4th of July - I guess I figured they could have a week just not every day?
