Hasn’t it been proven unsolvable?
Hasn’t it been proven unsolvable?
Then get ready to learn Rust, buddy.
Damn, capitalist. How’s that boot taste?
As much legacy code as has been written in C++, I’d think a total rewrite might be better ironically, in terms of passing on important institutional knowledge, to the extent large-scale production codebases are concerned. Attacking it bit by bit (pun not intended) might even take longer than just ripping things up and starting anew.
Joke’s on Gallup, I’ll be dead before I’m formally diagnosed with depression
I just know I’m a bad engineer. No matter how hard I work to understand things like JS, large scale file organisation in a production codebase confuses me. Why is this a component? Why is this code in app.js and not in a component? Why do these things appear in this position on the page? Note that I’m still asking this with 3 YoE, so I don’t feel great about myself haha.
But what if I’m the dipshit? I fucking hate formal wear and I’ll die before I willingly enjoy dressing up.
Wait, you guys have bank balances?
Where do you put it their query items in though? Your headline or whatever it’s called?
What the hell is the secret to get recruiters to reach out to you? I get literally nothing…

C? Memory safe? HAHAHAHA
I’ve seen a lot of anti-Rust propaganda in recent months, so I’m not surprised.
I thought I was the only one who lived this experience. It’s fucking suffering constantly wondering if I’m next because my team is in a downturn.
The only correct way to refer to that site is Twitter.
No need. Intel dumped all of them out, even if it was onto the rest of the motherboard.
I don’t think I’ve ever produced spaghetti code in my life…
Because my code never works in the first place.
What if I told you the judicial branch is doing its job because it was always evil to begin with?
