Yeah this isn’t really an argument between you guys as much as one saying “the worst of the worst is bad!” and another saying “yeah, they are! But most people aren’t the worst of the worst”.

I’d say, based on most of the answers here, that the reasons behind the sports scenario (people who are spectators) and the reasons behind the video game scenario (personal failure) are very different.

I can understand that you can vote for someone you criticize. But it’s obviously implied that you’re withholding your vote unless the administration changes their tune, which means you’re not voting for someone you’re criticizing at the moment. If not, then you have nothing to pressure with.

I am all for constructive criticism but I still don’t think this is an effective means to accomplish getting this point across.

Now is not the time. After she is elected, get out there and put the pressure on her. But it makes no sense to risk the fate of the entire country on this.

people want Trump to hurt people, the poor, emigrants, people of color, LGBT. Many Americans want all these people to suffer, for no other reason than their mere existence. Somehow this is OK to even extend to women in general too!

I can understand that this might be true of people, but sooo many people in this country are women, poor, emigrants, people of color, LGBT. To have as much support as Trump manages to have, clearly there are people within these groups that target themselves… it makes no sense.
