I think most elections would have been as if a Kamala Harris ran against another Kamala Harris. In other words, two normal politicians so that the result wasn’t perceived as much of a difference who one. Also, in the past if a politician said things like, “you won’t have to vote again” or called the opponent names, he would have been shredded in the media and probably lost the election due to scandal. I mean a felon has never run for president before. Trump just somehow has different rules.

Pretty sure Trump said we wouldn’t have to worry about voting anymore. It would all be taken care of.

To be honest, I do the same thing. I would vote for a dead person to avoid Trump’s shortcomings.

We used to. They were called Vendo-mats. They had sandwiches and cakes and all kinds of things. They weren’t exactly vending machines in the sense that things would fall down. The food was behind a little door you’d open after paying. Technically it was above me and across the hall. The water came in on one side of my apartment and I was able to close off those rooms and only lost a few things. The water that came in was black, just running down the walls like a horror movie. I just threw them away those few items. It made the apartment unlivable though due to the smell and toxins. My neighbor across the hall had it worse though and insurance paid to have all of her stuff treated. Apparently the stuff is brought to a facility and they expose it to ozone for a while(weeks if I remember correctly). She wound up buying a house and I moved in with her.

Had an apartment. Guy’s girlfriend upstairs smoked. His apartment caught on fire when she fell asleep smoking in bed. Guess where the water goes when the fire department put out the fire. And that’s not just water, it’s water mixed with toxic soot. No more apartment.

She’s still a politician. It’s easy to put her on a pedestal because she’s NOT Trump, but without him, how excited would you really be about Harris?

Not sure why you were downvoted, but this is a good point. In fact, I find it interesting that the US hasn’t stopped pretending and just lifted the law against hiring illegal immigrants.

It’s the main argument on how to stop illegal immigration, no one seems to talk about. Instead of building walls, jailing people or even shooting them for crossing the border, they should crack down on the people who hire them. To me it’s just conservatives admitting that their opinions are just racist.

I think your expectations are too high. They DO indeed care nothing for you, EVEN if they DO hire you.

You cope with this by understanding that and doing your best to make sure you NEVER need them more than they need you.

I think you’re on the right track. First, especially with your experience, do the work and become the doctor you want them to be. And buy a Porsche.

Second, how much work did that person do to earn the degree? How much debt did that person incur?

I’ve seen many times where a person with lesser education outperforms a “superior.” It’s not really fair, but getting the degree and then the job…that’s just the way it is.
