I feel like google cache has been gone for years. Remember when you could choose to see the cached version of almost any site that came up in your search results? I want to have nice things again.

PSA for those in the US; the Urgent Care type places that advertise “ER” in their title will be absurdly more expensive than “regular” Urgent Care places that do not advertise as such.
The reason is that the “ER” places have actual ER type equipment, but regardless if you use them or not, you will be charged as such.
Maybe this is common knowledge, but we learned the hard way when my partner went in for something very benign and we received a $1,000 bill, even though we had insurance.
These “ER” places are popping up everywhere, and there’s nothing to tell you that if you go down the road a block or so, it could make the difference between a cheaper co-pay and owing the full amount. In our case, almost $1,000.
I’ve never seen the signs allowing you to opt out, so this is good info.
But to add onto this topic - what is up when 2 people walk down a designated walkway while in line and the officer follows alongside them with the dog?
I’ve never even heard of it but now I’m intrigued.
I love my partner’s bigger t-shirts. I genuinely feel more comfortable and warm, especially on my shoulders. They can’t sleep unless the AC is set below 70, AND we have a window unit in the bedroom.
Oh wow - I totally did the alternate dimension thing too, hahaha!!! That’s hilarious. I bet it’s not uncommon, tbh
Random anecdote - years ago there was a hurricane heading in our general direction but not a direct hit. There was also a big UFC event that my partner wanted to watch. A friend invited him to a local sports bar to watch it, but I asked him to please stay home because the weather was still shit.
So he did and I found it on the high seas, problem solved.
The friend went to the sports bar and got stranded when the parking lot flooded pretty badly and his car was ruined.
It goes both ways. Not all racists have the legitimate ignorance excuse - many just want a convenient excuse to have an “other” to blame their problems on so that they don’t have to take responsibility for their own failures in life.
In a way littering is similar - some folks just don’t give a fuck, others were raised not to think twice about it and so they don’t. The second group can probably be educated though.
There are ignorant people in every group who can be reasoned with and realize they’re wrong, and change.
And there are malicious dickheads who just don’t give a fuck who their destructive behavior hurts in the process and will continue on their path to watch the world burn.
The issues themselves aren’t always the main qualifier.
Just to clear up any confusion - you can understand violence and racism, but not littering?
And if I do understand correctly, maybe it’s because that’s how their parents were, so they honestly just don’t think about it. My parents were the complete opposite so I abhor it, but I’ve known folks who don’t think twice. We’re still friends, I just try to gently remind them.
I do not have any racist or violent actual friends friends though. Like, I don’t actively pursue their company.
Fucking finally!
It’s true because I have a bidet.
I believe Iceland has this as well.
Not all heroes wear capes. Thanks from the dystopian state of Texas, OP <3
If they don’t have fixed rate, they’re in a pickle.

A co-worker of mine was in the later stages of a difficult pregnancy. We worked 9/80’s and had every other Friday off. A manager was upset because she was having to take so much time off from work to go to doctor’s appointments.
He didn’t understand why she just couldn’t go on off Fridays.
Her doctor did surgery on Fridays, not “regular” appointments. So yes, you’re 100% correct.
IIRC it was around 10,000 French words that were introduced into English after that. That’s what we learned in school, anyway.
I never knew about the prosciutto/ham, but tajin makes everything better!
My mom eats it with salt. It’s actually not bad, I enjoy it either way. The salt does give it an interesting flavor, so maybe try that if it might enable you to like it more.
No, because a UFO is subjective. If you’ve never seen an airplane or a drone before, it may be a UFO. To most other folks, it’s an IFO.
