How often do you take antibiotics now?
Misleading title… Vikunja doesn’t require docker compose. You can run it other ways. I’m running it on k8s.
Hi, I’m new to some of this stuff and I’m a little confused. How does it decide which mastodon posts to include? Are you deciding that or can anyone do it?
I’d still agree with his statement. Subset of people who could even make the determination in available source code is small compared to total users, now reduce that set to people competent in reverse engineering. “pretty hard” is not a bad description imo
Can you link to something with more info on how it works? I know how certs work and CAs but not how some random wifi network can hijack that whole trust system. It sounds like it would defeat the whole purpose of https. Thanks in advance.
I was talking about work VPN, the thing I connect to every morning to access work’s internal services.
I don’t see how a 3rd party device connecting to wifi can have https MITM. Otherwise many wifi out there would do it and steal your info.
Https is no match for work monitoring: pre-installed software, certs.
Is that for the VPN, or actually all wifi connections? Not sure how it would be possible for wifi
I think rebranding Twitter as x was pretty stupid. I wouldn’t have minded it if x was like a parent app and it was “Twitter by X” or something. But now they’re just alienating their users.
I think it is a completely personal choice, and that’s what’s so great about it
All the contributions are still open, we just have to fork it - which is exactly what I’m waiting for
Books will start needing to add a robots.txt page to the back of the book
yea… your sentence was pretty generic, anyway it was a joke
I believe online piracy is the uploading part, not the downloading. I think uploading has a much more narrow use case, but if everyone stopped we wouldn’t be able to download.
A car? you wouldn’t!
Honestly I never really saw the point of it, just seems like another dependency. The compose file and the docket run commands have almost the same info. I’d rather jump to kubectl and skip compose entirely. I’d like to see a tool that can convert between these 3 formats for you. As for piping into bash, no - I’d only do it on a very trusted package.
Good news everyone!
Isn’t that akin to security through obscurity… you might want one more layer of defense
This is like a movie, very good especially for this subject
