split tunneling is not 100% secure
This keeps being said and I don’t understand why people keep saying it. Split tunneling should be exactly as secure as your route table makes it, shouldn’t it?

Flip-flops for the house are great, especially for the kitchen
Both kbin and mbin function very well as progressive web apps, and shouldn’t /require/ a discreet app like, imo, lemmy does.
Increasing the antenna availability increases available airtime in a given band, reducing the airtme ‘load’ of IoT and similar devices on the spectrum. This alone would be a dramatic improvement, but increasing the modulation by a factor of 4 should dramatically reduce airtime utilization for normal client loads, regardless of available upstream bandwidth, resulting in more airtime for everyone else and dramatically improving wifi performance in congested environments, assuming access points are designed with sufficient memory to allow for buffering frames in this manner.
Wifi7 should be as big an improvement as 11b to 11g, assuming the hardware vendors don’t shit the bed on it.
They gain some protection for the brand and retain the trademarks associated with it by licensing instead of ignoring, and get this for free vs the ongoing expense in private server whackamole.
A lot of that range anxiety will start to evaporate as charging (both slow and fast) becomes more ubiquitous. If I can charge to 80% in 15 minutes I don’t need a lot more than 2-3 hours of drive time on a single charge, so long as there’s a charging station at that interval.
I stopped watching 3.5 minutes in when her ‘solution’ to the top level UI was to delete the downloads status button and half the other menus like ‘File’, you know where you exit the program and said ‘nobody uses’ all the store sorting tools. This should be used as a class for how to ruin your ux for the sake of a pretty ui

It also took several years of utter dominance before they started to drift into their current monstrousness. It’s not just that they won, but they also stayed winning.
Something that goes underrated is making your own clothes and just having to worry about sourcing fabrics. The fit is unmatched, but I’ll admit there’s some upfront cost in both tools and time investment to get competent at the skill.
You don’t need one, but it feels a lot better using one, though I would argue that for just driving around HOTAS is better than dual stick.
That depends on the software in question, but generally it will play a degraded version of the content.
Starsector is closer to a strategy game version of escape velocity. A game closer to what you’re envisioning would be Endless Sky
This is simply evidence that the English were right.
Because every character used to cost, both in page real estate and ink on page. Today, it still does in page real estate even if the bits that make up the page are basically free.
While its nice when a program let’s you pick the egress interface for its network traffic, split tunneling is still on the host os for handling its route table and making sure that’s set up correctly. Like, were people setting up split tunnel networks where they were treating the vpn interface as a proxy, pointing the software at it, and just hoping for the best?
