It does look miserable but if the bus stop was before the landing then would it not prevent cars trying to take the turn before the island?

In Sesotho, “how are you?” is “ho joang?” which gets shortened to “hj”
I agree, was just curious thank you.
Is it any different from the existing vegan community?
Other responses are kind of fence-sitting so I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say yeah it’s poor taste, but forgiveable. I think it just boils down to why would you use a skin tone that’s not yours? Some people like having an emoji that’s they share with others of their color, so why intrude on that?
Then what is your explanation for black and brown people more likely to use the skin toned emojis, as has been mentioned so much in this thread? Are they less lazy than white people, or care more about it? If they care more about it, then why?
White dude here. I use the white skin emojis, but honestly I think it’s just because I see my black and brown friends use their skin tones as a rule, and I feel like using the yellow tone is a bit weird when others are using the skin tone customization.
I’m not ashamed of my skin color or anything and the phone remembers my last tone selection so I don’t really see a reason to not use it.
All and probably most Local feeds are negative. If you’re looking for a more positive experience, you should change the way you interact with Lemmy and the Fediverse.
First, you should investigate different instances (or consider hosting your own) and find one that sounds like it has a better vibe. Then use the Local feeds instead of All.
Second, look for better communities. Many people complain about there being different iterations of communities but this is where that’s a strength of Lemmy’s structure. If the news community you’re frequenting is too full of downers, then look into different news communities. Or- again- if you’re feeling up to it, make your own and advertise it as a light-hearted community, then moderate it as such.
I don’t know what you’re referencing, sorry if im a bit dense haha
Absolutely, and it’s infuriating. The only thing that can stand between criminals and sociopaths is the vote, and a too much of the vote is controlled by morons.
Yes, and it’s important that felons be able to run for president. Were that not the case, a corrupt enough system could just disqualify anyone that would seek to oust it.
If we all did thay every time we saw a meme we wanted to use then the images would degrade much more quickly. Just look at what you’ve done to the lines on the cards.
This community is something lol I just asked for a template
First of all I’m on my phone until next year so I can’t just take this into Gimp on my desktop.
Even then, it’s bad practice to create templates by downloading a meme and erasing the edits when there’s usually a downloadable template somewhere.
Where can I get this as a blank template?
What they can do is cooperate with the other viable competitors to raise prices together in a way that benefits each of them without the risks of competition. They’re not actually comfortable competing with an entity that might bully them out.
Heck yeah I’ve been meaning to find some more weird west media.
I am abroad and have lots of friends that won’t download WhatsApp, so I use Instagram to contact them. Also, a couple of family friends have reached out to me with news or something. It does have a niche for me as a messaging app like Facebook, even if the only reason I use it is simply because other people won’t not use it.
Giving up your right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is like giving up your freedom of speech because you have nothing to say.
I saw some King of the Hill as a kid but I didn’t appreciate how good the cultural commentary in the show was.
