I watched the solo dev play it on Steam. Oh boy, that’s a steep learning curve. I might give it a shot but it definitely doesn’t target casual players.

They could be pulling out of the GPU market but I’m unaware of that. I still hear people waiting for the Battlemage lineup so I guessed they were still in with a planned release on Q4 2024.
Otherwise, thanks for the heads-up!
Not necessarily killing it but the future is geared towards AI and machine learning. People and companies working in that sector don’t mind dishing out 3K$ for a GPU, leaving desktop PC gamers in the dust.
Aside from Nvidia, I bought a 7800XT last Christmas. No drivers issues at all and plays almost everything at 1440p/120fps on medium-to-high settings. Don’t forget Intel’s upcoming in the GPU industry as well.
Well, it’s kind of addictive even if it’s not fully released yet, DRG fan base is huge and devs are active; sale numbers are not surprising at all.
I’ll launch that game back every time they add stuff to it.
Sucks because yeah, we’re now used to being on Discord by default. Makes me miss the TeamSpeak/Ventrilo days.
I believe you should go with someone who really wants it first. Then look at their activity on Lemmy, are they a mod for other instances/communities, how much free time do they have etc.
Make a clearer choice then.
Not that I wouldn’t be interested in the position but I work night shifts and most threads are posted during the day, making me kind of useless/really late on problematic stuff.
Testing with 30 different GPUs is serious dedication.
That being said, HFW is on my wishlist once I get through some of my backlog. If someone on here has played it already, how is it?
Watch out, incoming AAAAA games!
Just checked the game’s Steam page, wishlisted it as well. That type of game is right up my alley.
I’m with you there, it’s not close to the disappointment that Diablo IV was/is but still.
I upgraded my racing cockpit in hope FM would keep me hooked but here I am back to Project CARS 2.
I totally agree with FOMO being present in Forza Motorsport, even more than in FH5.
However, it’s not what dragged me away from the game; the lack of an open multiplayer lobbies list did. There are only locked, closed multiplayer lobbies and public lobbies with defined events that last a couple days. I just want to browse what to race, apply filters etc.
I’m with you there.
Something filmed originally in 16:9 or 16:10 but pasted in portrait mode, using only 1/3 of the screen. Even if you flip your phone sideways, the video is even smaller. GAHHHHHHHH.
Definitely Dofus back then (2005-2010), Minecraft Survival Mode after that (2012-2020) and now it’s Grim Dawn.
And the 5090 probably starting at 3200$ CAD.
Sucks but yeah, it was foreseeable.
I enjoyed both of my playthroughs of Temtem and I still boot the game up from time to time, trying to earn the missing achievements.
Congrats Crema for that colourful game and if Temtem 2 (or whatever it’s gonna be called) ever comes out, it’s a day-one purchase, guaranteed.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first Watch Dogs and that’s about it. Having to get through their launcher sucks big time, yes.
Not a big surprise to any gamer out there. It was even considered dead on arrival for a while.
Another Ubi game I’ll gladly skip, the last one I’ve played being The Crew 2.
Don’t leave his brother FreeCell out of this.
Everything is up to date and monitor sleep is turned off.
I’m starting to wonder if I give up on the 7700XT and go back to my 6600XT, it was sure as hell less troublesome.
I have the 7700XT. I game at 1440p/120fps quite easily with mid-to-high settings. I don’t regret it one bit; my previous GPU was a GTX1060 3GB variant.
