Elon: “Amateurs”
Neat. I wish more people would migrate to Mastodon. I’ve never been a big Twatter guy, but there’s a handful of people I’d like to see updates from who are trapped by their following there.
Curious what you think the issues with AP are. Other than the nature of the fediverse being confusing to new users (not sure which instance to sign up for, etc), I haven’t had any issues with it. I would like to see community syncing between instances for more seamless discovery, though.
I’m not particularly worried about it. I can block them if they annoy me. And on the bright side, their large user base may help make the Fediverse mainstream enough to topple the tech giants.

Only if you’re dumb enough to buy those shoes.
FYI Nexctloud supports webdav.
I run it and mariaDB in docker and they run perfectly when left alone, but everything breaks horribly if I try to do an update. I recently figured out that you need to do updates for NC in steps, and docker (unRAID’s, specifically) defaults to jumping to the latest version. I think I figured out how to specify version now so fingers crossed I won’t destroy it the next time I do updates.
Sometimes it’s configurable through the web interface, sometimes it requires a call to the ISP if you’re using their locked-down modem.
I’m not familiar with IT norms in China though.

It sounds like you have a slower DIMM slotted higher in the order, so you’re artificially limiting the faster DIMMs ranked behind it.
Look up the optimal slot order and speed requirements etc for the motherboard, I’ll bet you’ll find you have it stacked wrong or have technically unsupported DIMMs.
I think these companies should run their own usenet servers, personally. That’s the only way they’re getting my money.
I don’t remember the exact dates unfortunately. The first account was probably the day of the AMA and I received the download within a few days (Monday?).
The second account was longer, I requested it maybe a day or two after the AMA and didn’t receive it until today. I think they’re getting a lot of them now.
All I see is “let me be mod so I can follow the will of the users and keep it NSFW.”
That’s for getting a copy of your data, not a request for deleting your data. I did receive both data requests for my former accounts within a few days.
I submitted one under CCPA last week and haven’t gotten a response yet. :-/
I’d recommend retaining access to your account for now. I deleted mine and now have no recourse to go back and re-delete the comments they restored.
